We ordered Leberkäse and were really excited, flavour was actually really nice. But it was not even warm to the touch, it was icy cold and still a little bit frozen in the middle. If you really freeze and sell Leberkäse, alright (the butcher, at least, should be aware of consistency-changes during freezing-defreezing), but if you put it in the microwave anyways (we heard the DONG twice really clearly) then you could at least heat it until steamingly hot. Wir sind durch Zufall an dem Laden vorbeigefahren und haben es riskiert dort etwas zu essen. Normalerweise spare ich mir schlechte Rezensionen, es sei denn dass Essen löst bei mir Magenbeschwerden aus. Das Restaurant wirkt nicht wirklich einladend und passt leider auch zum Charakter der gesamten Gegend. Die Straße zum Eingang des National Parks ist ziemlich runtergekommen, sehr viel Dreck an den Straßen und den Grundstücken, hier reiht sich dieses Restaurant im Nachhinein nahtlos ein, optisch wie qualitativ. Wir hatten den Leberkäs und die bzw. ein Mettende probiert, zum Leberkäs bestellten wir Kartoffelsalat. Das Mettende war geschmacklich ganz OK, dazu gab es zwei Scheiben trockenes Brot und Senf aus der Tube. Der Leberkäs hatte aber nichts mit Leberkäs zu tun, geschmacklich wie optisch. Er war vertrocknet und schmeckte nicht einmal annähernd nach dem was es sein sollte. Leider wollte dieser nach gut zwei Stunden auf den selben Weg wieder raus wie er rein kam. Schade um das arme Tier was für solch ein Produkt sterben musste. Der Kartoffelsalat war an sich ok, die Kartoffeln waren aber mehr Brei als Stücke. Da wir in Thailand leben kann ich nur sagen dass es viele sehr gute Deutsche Metzger gibt, dieser gehört für mich absolut nicht dazu.
