Went here for Tom Yum Kung, crab fried rice and morning glory, basically 3 famous Thai dishes. Second time we had the same without the morning glory. So we tried it 2 times to have a good opinion. Disappointing. The morning glory was really bad: quickly fried in oyster sauce and too much garlic, the veggies got soft and no crunchiness. Shame on the cook! The soup was diluted, the flavours didn’t come together, it was just water with ingredients shortly boiled. The shrimps were overcooked and chewy. First time the crab fried rice was smokey (from the wok pan) and had a rich crab flavour, as it should be. Second time, it was just ordinary fried rice, hardly any crab meat. We complained about it and they tried again, but hardly any crab. Inconsistent taste, 1st and 2nd time. The restaurant itself is spacious along the road, good breeze. Staff is ok, but indifferent. We won’t come back here.

This is a good value Thai seafood restaurant on the island. Popular with the local lunch crowd. We had the squid phat cha, phat pak chachet and glass noodles with shrimp, the size was good too. However, the oyster omelette had flour in it so tasted a bit hard and wierd. Food came out out fast and the service was good. There is parking in front of the restaurant.

The price is acceptable. The service is ok but the problem is the taste of their food. They are not good enough at all and I cant find any delicious dish for tonight. We had to try our best to finish all of them but we couldn't make it. If you don't want to feel disappointed, then don't come here.

We went here because of lots of great reviews from Thais and tourists, and from various articles, but we were overall disappointed. Maybe it’s the low season, maybe it was because we went early for dinner (before 5pm), maybe we ordered the wrong things, so hopefully it was just our misfortune.

First off, the staff was attentive, and the best dish was the fried grouper fish with three flavors. The fish seemed fresh, was fried well, and the sauce was flavorful. It was a very good dish, and if everything else was made with the same love and care, this would be a great place.

We also ordered stir fried morning glory, crab fried rice, baked cellophane noodle shrimp, tom yum shrimp, and fried crab nuggets / poppers.

The morning glory had no flavor and just smelled weird. The morning glory was not vibrant green, so unsure if it was the cooking technique or lack of freshness. The baked cellophane noodle shrimp was over baked, dried, powdery, and congealed. It is hard to explain how it was cooked to end up like this. The crab fried rice, Tom yum shrimp, and crab nuggets/poppers were ok. There were a few bits of shell and garlic paper in the fried rice, which usually is not a big issue, but after having 2 really disappointing dishes, the presence of shell and garlic paper in the fried rice certainly did not help.

What really put the last nail in the coffin was the house flies that magically appeared out of nowhere when the food arrived. I don’t mind one or two flying around, but there were at least a dozen, and some of them were really aggressive. As we were leaving at around 5:30pm, other customers were arriving. We might have had better luck with less flies if there were more tables with food available for...

Ordered fish, crab & prawns but the dishes took extremely long to be served. Before ordering we were told it will take an hour for the food to be served but it took close to 2 hours??? Prices were quite expensive and you can only choose either 500g, and in increments of 500g. The seafood was fresh but definitely not worth the prices. Prawn 500g for 400baht & same for flower crabs. After waiting for close to 2 hours the fish was not being served so we went to the counter to settle the bill and was told it was sold out, why was the customer not being told that it is sold out?

Overall...
