“One of the best French restaurant in Ubon” Under the tree canopy lies a small rastaurant. This is one of the most authentic and sincere place you can find if you had a chance to swing by or lived in ubon already. The menu are not very diverse but everything is full of taste and the ingredients are very fresh and you can tell how carefully the chef has prepared for each course.
-The atmosphere is very authentic and peaceful. Everything is truely antique and carefully chosen, even utensils are brass and ivory. On the outside you’ll find a lot of trees and lushful shade which is so rare in Ubon these days. This restaurant had been in business for over three decades
-The owner is a fine elderly gentleman, which is also a chef. This restaurant used to be operated by a couple but sadly his significant other just passed away lately. His accommodation maybe a little bit sluggish and but I ensured you it’s a restaurant that really cared for their customer.
-Foods are to die for, especially meat menus and soups, I swear I’ve never taste anything like this magical spinach soup anywhere in Ubon, It’s so creamy and complex. Main courses are good as expected and waiting time is not that long even they had only one chef. Main course is wonderful, herb sauce baked meat taste very nice and medium rare is actually medium rare. Salmon steak is very fresh and cooked just right.
AND also don’t forget about the dessert, his crêpes suzette is a fine choice for ending the meal. Crepe sauce smells full of marmalade and cointreau which is again very authentic. It goes along so well with vanilla ice cream that came with.
The price is also very reasonable. Appetizers, soup, entree are in the range of just 10-15$ and the specialty menus like USDA beef and stuffs cost just around 20-25$. It’s an one of a kind experience I wish anyone had a chance to swing...

I haven't even finished my order and the old uncle took the menu away & walked away!? maybe we looks young and not his target market idk. but the service was not the bestttt. Dishes were great, juicy. However, i ordered medium well, the uncle was like "it wont taste good" but damn that is my preference.. at the end of the day he gave me medium rare.. which i hate. Should have cooked what i ordered.. i mean you can give a suggestion but if i insisted, you should have cooked as i said?????? My friend hasn't finished her last bite, uncle took away her plate and served a plate of watermelon... literally...
