OSHINEI Ubon Ratchathani — Restaurant in Ubon Ratchathani Province

Good: just a few dishes, tempura, tuna and the white fish (I don't remember the name now)

Bad: Service, every time ordering food was a problem, even though there were many waitresses and few customers. Food, salmon stringy because overcooked, squid hard as rubber, old and tasteless octopus, and everything in general seasoned with super sweet and cloying sauces, even the ginger was sweet.

So-so: Location. Price, for Italians pockets ok, for Thailand pockets bad.

Extra comment: as a parent, having toured several restaurants now here in Thailand, this time it differs from the others in a negative way; to get the seat for the baby we had to ask three times, and once the maid took the coaster out of my son's hand in a bad way just because he wanted to play with it for a moment. I understand well that salaries in Thailand are starving and that employees are exploited in most cases, but this is something that has never happened to us before.

First of all I saw this restaurant from reliable TV show in Thailand 🇹🇭🇯🇵. And I decided to come to Ubon. ✈️I reserved the table before I came here for 2 week. 📞 When I came, my first impression is the grumpy manager 😡I was waiting for preparation almost 1 hr.

Finally I have a seat near 2 teenagers and old man, they talked a lot and very loud without worrying to anything for ~1.5 hr.

And the plates had came, starting with dry sliced salmon so disappointed ☹️ others also disappointed too. The grilled sliced beef was good but not good enough for tonight.

PS. I bought the most expensive in all you can eat options. ~2900฿ for both of us. This price including vat and...

I went yesterday with my family. Food is great but the service isn't so great. We dine in and had a buffet. My wife and I had a 1150 baht per person buffet and the couple tust was with us a 550 baht per person also 12 bottle of beer which cost 130 baht a bottle. This sum up to be 4960 baht. The bill came at 5860 baht. We pay and didn't recheck the bill (which is our fault) but we honestly didn't think it would come to this. Employee shouldn't be doing this to visitor.
