It's my first time to dine here for lunch during Songkran festival. The place is warmly decorated. The parking space is available, which is convenient.
The food tasted fine, overlooking the fact that I got food poisoning afterwards. While the price is a bit on the higher side but they seem understandable considering the portion size and ingredients.
I dined here on 15 April 2025 and informed the restaurant an issue about the food quality on 18 April 2025. After our meal, my friends and I went to another cafe' for dessert. We shared all the food at both places except for one dish, the shrimp salad. Only two of us ate dish and we both end up with food poisoning.
Al though we did go out for tea and cake after the meal here. However, I and my friend started feeling abnormal stomach tightness shortly after finishing lunch and the symptom began before we went to another place. Initially, we thought it was just from overeating, but the symptoms worsen. By midnight, I developed food pensioning, diarrhea as well as a fever, a clear signs of food poisoning. Unfortunately, I am not a physician and unable to diagnose my own symptoms by law.
I understand that taste, expectation and satisfaction are personal. After informing the restaurant about what happened, I was aware that the service mind was never an option here. There are many ways to communicate with customers to remain the same meaning, but I felt the restaurant chose the one that showed a complete lack of service-mindfulness.
I came to your restaurant and paid for the "experience". I am not looking for the free meal, I pay for what I took but this wasn't an experience I wished...
Read moreI love Italian food. I love Italian food so much that whenever I travel, in addition to enjoying the local cuisine, I always look for a great Italian restaurant. I've done this in more than 3 dozen countries in my 20 years of travel. I have NEVER visited an Italian restaurant as unique as this restaurant in Udon Thani. Piccola Roma is a wonderfully unique experience. Situated on a quiet side street, away from the noise and hassle of the highway, this beautiful dining room will take you to a place and time of family meals filled with overflowing delightful food and joyful family togetherness. The team members running Piccola Roma last night were amazingly friendly and very attentive to the unique needs of our family. We were never left wanting or waiting for anything. But the highlight of the evening was the food. Everything was amazing. I'm talking about a fully certified 3-Star Michelin experience, especially in food presentation and authentic quality. We drove three hours for the opportunity to experience this amazing restaurant. And we will definitely be visiting them again whenever we are anywhere...
