Went for breakfast and with my partner.
She ordered an Almond Croissant and an Iced Latte. I, soft boiled eggs and Salmon along with an Americano with cold milk. Latte and Americano arrived, my cold milk was warm cream, ‘crack on I thought I’ll deal with it’. My partner’s iced latte was nice she said, as was the croissant, though no better than what you would get in Lotus or Tops, just here you pay four times the amount. My coffee was weak, flavourless and reminded me a dodgy coffee machine you’d get in a car garage.
Thirty minutes had passed, my average coffee had been finished, the iced latte nearly gone and the Croissant eaten by my partner. My soft boiled eggs, which should take between 7-9 minutes to cook were not to be seen.
Five minutes later a waiter informed me he’d ask, he came back shortly afterwards and stated it would be a couple of minutes, so nearly 40 minutes later. Cancel the order I stated, to which he did. I went up to pay, they charged us fully for everything and only muttered the word ‘Sorry’ once.
We should have known better when we walked in and the only two tables were taken up by tourists from the Middle East taking selfies without a local in sight,

Read moreThe café is located behind the new side of Central Mall. Personally, I traveled from the side of King Power building, which is another accessible route. The uphill road is a bit challenging due to the frequent van traffic, so be careful not to drive too fast.
I visited the café on a Saturday afternoon, which is naturally the busiest time due to the weekend. Finding a parking spot was a bit tricky because it was crowded with tourists visiting the nearby restaurant and zipline area.
The café is stunning and very close to nature. Its structure reminds me of a greenhouse nestled in the mountains. However, once inside, you'll find a cozy and warm atmosphere. Despite the cozy vibe, it's not hot since the café has good air conditioning.
Coffee enthusiasts will love this place as it offers a wide variety of coffee beans. I opted for a matcha drink instead, which was surprisingly delicious and well-balanced, though on the sweeter side. If you prefer less sweetness, it's better to order it with less sugar.
There were fewer dessert options than I expected. I ordered a lemon cake and a strawberry timbering. Personally, I'm not a big fan of lemon cake, but it was okay. The timbering was tasty, though both desserts were a bit sweet.
Overall, I was impressed and highly recommend this café. The atmosphere is great, and I loved...
Read moreWe ordered a chicken burger that came with fries (tasted like Doritos) and a half grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and black pepper sauce. Personally, I didn’t enjoy the burger much because of the pickles inside, but the grilled chicken was absolutely delicious! I also had a passion orange juice – it was nice and light, but I wish the flavor was a bit stronger. The overall atmosphere was excellent: cool, bright, and very welcoming. Thank you for the great experience – I’ll definitely be coming back again! 🌟
I wrote my honest review from the heart and showed it to the staff, only to realize later that what they meant by a “free dessert” was just a small biscuit. Honestly, I felt this was a bit inappropriate – it would have been better if they clearly mentioned “write a review and you’ll get a tasty biscuit.” This kind of gesture didn’t feel necessary and, to be honest, I didn’t...
