I’ll give as much of an honest review as I can.
TLDR: The service from the male manager on 15/8/2025 renders this place a 1 Star from me. I won’t be going back, I can’t recommend this place at all until there is a management change.
I came to have breakfast and coffee after dropping my daughter off at school. The breakfast was nice, the space was beautiful. The girls at the counter were cheerful and happy. While eating, the rain began to pour down outside. So after eating, I decided to wait in a lounge chair at the back of the restaurant.
Of the 50 seats in the restaurant, there were only 2 other people there. The place was empty. After maybe 30 minutes, the manager shows up and insists that I buy something more. I explained I already had breakfast, coffee and explained the rain. Yet he motioned to the cash register and again insisted I order again.
For me, that is bottom of the barrel in both class and service. It’s a shame because the restaurant itself feels upscale.
A note to the owner: Make sure your management class is on par with the class of your restaurant or all the effort is...
Read moreWe recently visited Wood Café, and it was a truly delightful experience. Until now, we had only ordered food through Foodpanda — which was always satisfying — but this time we decided to visit the café in person, and we were pleasantly surprised.
It’s not just a café, it’s a cultural experience. Inside, there's an impressive exhibition of wooden art and Thai-Chinese traditional paintings. We saw so many fascinating Chinese vases, some priced up to 100,000 THB — it felt like walking through a private gallery. It’s an amazing chance to get close to this art, listen to its stories, and maybe even take something special home.
We ordered the breakfast set, which was delicious. Everything was beautifully presented, and the authentic decor — including the table with its unique tablecloth — made the experience even more memorable. You can see it all in our photos. We’re genuinely impressed.
Big thanks to the owner for creating such a...
Read moreWood x Good Cafe, Phuket is an absolute hidden gem. The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by an atmosphere that feels more like an art gallery than a café. The space is filled with creativity — unique wooden details, bronze accents, and artistic touches everywhere you look. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place to experience.
The food is equally impressive. Every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavor, clearly crafted with care. From fresh salads to warm, comforting soups and perfectly baked pastries, the menu balances both healthy options and indulgent treats. Pair that with a smooth coffee or one of their refreshing drinks, and you’ve got the perfect spot to relax or meet friends.
What makes this place special is the harmony between the delicious food and the inspiring atmosphere. You don’t just have a meal here — you immerse yourself in art, warmth, and creativity. Definitely one of the must-visit...
