The service was ok, noting spectacular about that. Standard.

The food. Never got the chance to take food photos on my phone, but we ordered 4 foods. Stir-fried vegetables with shrimp paste = Very good. love it, the veggies were nice and crunchy, the stir sauce was sensational, the seafood in it was real treat! (ผัดผักรวมกะปิ) Crab's egg spicy and sour paste with crab's meat and fresh vegetables as sides = the first bites were really nice. The taste was good, the veggies were fresh as well. Towards the end, I got the after taste as 'too acidic' on my tongue. I don't know what, but, (because we also have other dishes which uses lime or lemon juices, only if they were really natural), happened to both of us. (น้ำพริกไข่ปู) Grilled pork on Chinese Kale and spicy and sour sauce (seafood sauce-kind) = the grilled pork was sensational. love it. Both of us did loved it. Of course, towards the end of the dish... too acidic. HOWEVER, still loved it. The kales bites were fresh and crunchy and went so good with the grilled pork soaked in the sauce. Yum! (หมูมะนาว) Pickled Cabbage spicy salad - Thai style = It was okay in both of our opinions. But would not recommend as a must have dish. (ยำผักกาดดอง)

Overall, we are satisfied with those dishes. But will do try the seafood next time. I think Seafood are their fortes, must have been so good. So, we shall...

You have to go see what is fresh and big of each day to order the right stuff. Also ask the price so you know whether the price is reasonable for you. I ordered the extra large shrimp and clam which is fresh and taste perfect, sweet and fresh with xxl size. Price is not cheap, but they are quite precise for the kilo, half kg means half, not quarter. (On this, recently tried half kilo shrimp but only get 4 pieces which weren’t even close to half kg.) So check and estimate quantity before making that order. Worth a try if you are in the area, which is no tourist spot. Popular...

วันนี้มาถึงคิวร้านเจ๊ไข่กันบ้างนะคะ เป็นร้านที่อยู่แถวบ้านและคนในครอบครัวชอบพามากินตั้งแต่เด็ก ๆ เป็นร้านที่เน้นอาหารทะเลเป็นหลักเลยก็ว่าได้ มากินตั้งแต่ร้านยังเป็นตึกแถวประมาณ 2 คูหา และจะมีบัวลอยรถเข็นมาขายอยู่ข้างร้านใกล้ ๆ กัน ร้านบัวลวยเจ้านี้ก็อร่อยมากเช่นกันไม่แน่ใจว่าปัจจุบันยังขายอยู่ไหม เพราะครั้งนี้มาแค่ร้านเจ๊ไข่ที่ปัจจุบันตอนนี้ขยับขยายกิจการไปจนมีร้านกาแฟและเบเกอรี่เพิ่มขึ้นมาแล้วด้วย กิจการเติบโตรุ่งเรืองมากเลยดีใจกับเจ๊ไข่ด้วยนะคะ

เมนูที่ไปกินวันนี้ มะม่วงชีสเค้ก หรือ เค้กมะม่วง ไม่แน่ใจเพราะจำชื่อไม่ได้ อร่อยไม่หวานมาก หอมมะม่วงลงตัวพอดีเลย หมึกไข่นึ่งมะนาว หมึกไข่ชิ้นใหญ่ ๆ กินเข้าไปเต็มปากเลย รสชาติของน้ำก็จัดจ้านลงตัว หอยนางรมใหญ่ ตัวใหญ่มาก ๆ ตักกินทีเต็มปากเต็มคำ มีเครื่องเคียง พร้อมน้ำจิ้มมาให้เราปรุงเองพร้อมเลยนะคะ ดูรูปได้ว่าใหญ่จริงเมื่อเทียบกับช้อนข้าวแล้ว หอยแครงลวกจิ้มน้ำจิ้มซีฟู้ดของทางร้าน อร่อย เด็ด เนื้อหอยหวานอร่อยลงตัว เอ็นหอยผัดฉ่า เอ็นหอยชิ้นใหญ่ ๆ เต็ม ๆ คำ ผัดกับเครื่องเทศผัดฉ่า รสชาติจัดจ้านสะใจ ปูแกะ ชิ้นโต ๆ เนื้อหวาน ๆ กินง่าย ๆ เหมาะกับคนที่ไม่ชอบแกะปูเองนะ เต็มปากเต็มคำมาก ๆ ยำหอยนางรม ทางร้านจะไม่คลุกน้ำยำมาให้ ให้เราเลือกตักใส่เองว่าชอบเผ็ดน้อยหรือเผ็ดมาก หอยก็สดมากเช่นกัน หอยตลับผัดพริกเผา เมนูนี้เหมือนกินหอยลายแต่เนื้อหอยตลับจะใหญ่และเด้งกว่าหอยลาย ไม่เผ็ดมาก ออกหวานจากพริกเผาด้วย กินกับข้าวสวยร้อน ๆ ลงตัวพอดีเลย

ใครอยากกินเมนูซีฟู้ด แนะนำร้านเจ๊ไข่อีก 1 ร้านไว้ในอ้อมอกอ้อมใจ เหมือนนั่งกินอาหานทะเลสด ๆ ที่ริมทะเลเลยล่ะ
