Canboulay — Restaurant in San Fernando

A bar/restaurant located in San Fernando Trinidad. My group arrived approximately 630pm for dinner. Saturday Night. Seated at the bar and ordered pre dinner drinks. Our first round was prompt. Ordered appetizers which consisted of Shark Bites, Pork, fully loaded baked potato (which surprisingly they had), and Canboulay Carnival caesar salad. It took approximately 45 minutes for our order to arrive with the exception of the salad which arrived 50minutes later. We requested Caesar dressing with the Caesar salad was given honey mustard and was told there were no other choices. Taste of food average a bit heavy on salt, and heavily coated shark bites, ambience of restaurant quite nice, restrooms were also clean. A great outdoor patio. Some of the staff members were attentive and some were preoccupied. I would revisit this establishment because I think there is potential. I will give them another year though. I wish I could give a rating of less than a star. Bought grilled garlic chicken mashed potatoes. I bought three lunches but got condiments for one. Garlic bread was horrible. Salad was normal,mashed potatoes were tasteless no cheese in it but the chicken omg I took a leg and thigh and there was no leg. On top of that while eating I found foil paper in my food after it was in my mouth already. My colleagues who had the other two lunches shared my sentiments. My family and myself used to be regular patrons at this establishment, but after covod-19 last night was the first time my wife and I revisited, This restaurant is very run down at the moment(4/10). After waiting about 15 mins,the food arrived cold, the service was deplorable, there was human hair found in the food also,the price didn't seem to change as of what we were accustomed to. The chef did not have the decency to apologize for the inconvenience concerning the hair, the waitress was not properly mannered for this job,but she tried.
