Baltarzzar Thai Fusion Restaurant — Restaurant in Trinidad

The best Thai food I’ve had in Trinidad has been at this restaurant. Parking and prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Try the panang or the green curry - it’s so delicious. Can’t wait to return!

Update# 1: I often stop at Baltarzzar once I’m in the Couva area for the curries and pad Thai but the samosas were small and disappointing. The pastry or crust lacked the proper texture and the filling was not quite there. They also sold me old carrot cake dessert that tasted horrible during my last visit. Buyers beware and make sure you ask if it’s freshly made.

Update#2: I ordered green and panang curry dishes this week. They’re my usual go to meals on this menu. I requested mild for my family but when we taste the food it’s ridiculously spicy and salty. Some of the chicken also had an old taste to it. The next day I got severe tummy aches and that’s the only food I ate for the day. I’ll be cooking my own Thai food at...

Visited for the 1st time on 1/7/24. Quite impressed. The food , 8oz Steak , creamy potatoes & side salad were delicious, my only negative is that i would have preferred red or white onion in the salad instead of the regular one. My dinner date thoroughly enjoyed his 1/2 rack pepper lamb with veg & coleslaw. We both had the House Bentley which was made well and refreshing. The in house customer service was excellent. I must also mention the car park attendant, who was welcoming and wished us an enjoyable dining experience as well as a safe journey home upon our departure. I have been eating here for many many years. Been eating with the establishment throughout their moves and changes for about 35yrs. My parents used to eat here before having kids hahaha.

The food quality has NEVER changed. Just as good, consistency is key. There's everything from Chinese, Thai, Aunthenic Indian, finger food, fancy drinks etc... I have eaten so many things from their menu as well and all passed.

The service is always wonderful and the owner pops up ever so often as well.

Not a fancy esthetic but definitely the most consistently great tasting food I have had.
