Excellent prices, environment, ambience, food and drinks. Food: All items were as advertised, prepared quickly enough and well presented. The food was expertly prepared. I would give 10 out of 5 stars for flavour. Drinks: I bought a passion fruit margarita for $35 which sells for upwards of $50 at most restaurants. The margarita was good but was a bit too salty and lacked flavour. It's the only thing is give 4 stars instead of 5. My friend and I both bought Bentleys as well which tasted great. Service: Our server was exceptional from the moment we walked into the building to when we left. Friendly, helpful, attentive and always smiling. The manager greeted us at our table and offered recommendations. She also checked on us at intervals. The bartender prepared drinks quickly but we did not interact with him directly. Menu: Easy to read. Sensible layout. User-friendly. A wide variety of options. Includes photos of the food items which is so helpful! Environment: The decor is beautiful and classy yet comfortable. There is a variety of seating options with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Delicious food with generous portions of seafood and chicken found in the rice, sides and soup. The menu has both Thai and Indian cuisine and my family enjoyed the experience. They usually default to Indian food when we’re out, so I ordered these Thai dishes for them to experiment with and they enjoyed it: Spicy calamari, pineapple Fried Rice, Tom Yum Friend Rice, stir fried Eggplant, Cashew Salad, Steamed Fish and a Lamb dish (from the Indian section). The prices are market comparative and all meats are said to be Halal. One point to note, not all the items on the menu were available for dinner like Tom Yum Soup and they ran out of chai ingredients which was disappointing but not a deal breaker. Also, the exterior of the building is a bit unassuming from the road. If you’re a Thai food lover or someone looking to try new dishes, the decor here is ‘on brand’ with south east asian restaurants i.e don’t expect a fancy place but it is very clean and chairs are comfortable. The food is what they focus on.

It's with a heavy heart I leave this post. It was with high expectations my friends and I choose Chhai Thai for our girls night out dinner. We arrived at 6:40pm ordered our drinks apps and main. The drinks didn't take too long to come the apps took a while but we were chatting so it wasn't too big of a deal. Both the drinks and the apps were delicious we thoroughly enjoyed them. This is where things took a turn for the worst, we then had to wait almost a whole hour after finishing our apps before we got our main course (8:30) which upon arrival was cold and lacked any real flavour....sigh. It was very disappointing especially since we had such high expectations after our apps. I want to believe that this was a fluke and some time in the not too near future try Chhai Thai out again. (Sorry for the long post but I'm very passionate about my food and money spent on it )
