I got 4 items: The Donkatsu ramen from Golden bell And From Seouler I got the Beef Japchae Korean croquette, the nuttella and cream cheese Korean croquette, and the Sausage and cheddar Korean hotdog with the potato pieces added on.
The Donkatsu ramen is my go to food to purchase and as usual, it tastes very good and I would recommend it to everybody, even the less adventurous eaters.
[ My one change I would ask is if for the to go option, if the actual pork cutlet could be packed separately so that it wouldn't get soggy and would still be crisp, rather than left to be immediately soggy. It doesn't change the taste, but even upen receiving the to go package my cutlet was no longer crispy. ]
For the Seouler, the entire experience was new, and I have comments and recommendations.
By far my favourite item was the Beef Japchae croquette for 20 dollars. It was new and delicious, and just a warning that the croquette is not Potato, but flour.
My second favourite item would be the nutella and cream cheese Korean croquette, also $20. It wasn't under filled that's for sure, which was a worry of mine. It was a bit sweet so if you like that I recommend it.
The croquettes are ready made so you don't have to wait for them
Surprisingly, my least favourite item was the Korean hotdog. I was really excited for it since years ago I would see them being made in Korea and it looked beyond delicious. Well looks aren't everything XD The cheddar tasted ok, but more like the American cheddar cheese slices that im still slightly convinced might be plastic. The hotdog taste was hidden by the overwhelming taste of 𝕠𝕚𝕝. The potato pieces didn't help that either as they too just held onto the oil taste. The best part was probably the sausage, and it was just a normal but nice standard sausage. I think if they seasoned the potatoes, that might add into the tasty factor, or at least distract from the oil. To make it short, to me it's a stunt food. Nice to have for the experience. But not..... tasty, might be...
Read moreThe service at the East Gates location only is so so poor. The new cashier there has such a "I don't care attitude" it's unbelievable. On 2 different occasions, I ordered Salmon recently, and they were both very bad experiences. For example, I ordered and waited 40 minutes upon checking in with the cashier I was told to hold on, all together waited 48 minutes only to find out my meal was not done. This is a meal I order at C3 and Westmall, and it arrives within 15 minutes. I asked for my cash back. Recently, I decided to give them another try, and I waited 38 minutes (the store was dead had no other customers), after which I had to check again and was told to "hold on". I asked the cashier, "Why does the salmon take this long at the East Gates location only?" she looked at me and said,"It only takes 15 minutes, " after which I expressed i have been waiting for 38 minutes since I placed my order, only to be looked at with no response. These 2 recent experiences are enough to not purchase at that specific location, I will stick to Westmall and C3. The staff is always...

Golden Bell is usually a 5 out 5 for me, but the East Gates location has fallen short in recent times. Their food is always amazing, but the removal of the pork belly from their menu hurt me as it was a dish I was willing to drive to West Mall or C3 to get. They don't take call in orders which means that you must line up to place your order, which is usually fine so long as it's not a Friday or Saturday. Then the line is extremely long. With two cashiers, one for Golden Bell and one for Seouler, things usually move along well, except that the cashier's aren't labelled and there's no signage to instruct customers of where to go to order what. So customers sometimes wait in line just to have to go and wait in another line just to place an order.
Overall, this is still an amazing place to dine, or takeaway, as their food is consistently good, but these small issues, for me at least, keep them from...
