Hot Sauce Restaurants — Restaurant in Trinidad

Prices are great.. portion sizes are great... Customer Service ALL the way on point.... BUT.....

The food however, lacks some serious Indian flavour. It's tasteless borderline watered down. The potato, pumpkin, bhagi, channa.. even Chicken has NO curry flavour.. no sweetness of the pumpkin, I can tell absolutely no Mehti, coriander, even caripule (dont know how to spell) was used. Not even a lil geera to ADD to the flavour of the meat. (These that I mentioned are stuff I have had from you already) It was truly disappointing esp since my 1st time there.. the food was GREAT! I'm not sure if cooks were changed or what but it's NOT the same Hot Sauce...

Food was horrible. They didn’t have a part of my order and instead of letting me know they just put a punch of nasty potato salad with too much mustard in my box when I didn’t ask nor pay for that😒. I paid for GRILLED shrimp with a SIDE of fries and a SIDE of macaroni salad Instead I got Wet shrimp with big chunks tomato and onions 😒 Next to no fries And 75% of the box was potato salad 🤢 My spouse got the lamb same problem plus the lamb was hard and rubbery Never...

This is my second time in a year having a roti at this restaurant. The staff is pleasant and the food is fine. For me the options to go with the roti are limited. No channa, no mango, no boneless chicken etc... A few years back these options were available and now they aren't. You can still get a filling meal here, just not all the fixings as before hence the 4 stars. Other than that it's still a good place...
