I stumbled upon il’Pesto by pure chance, and what a delicious surprise it turned out to be! Initially, I was planning to order penne with poulet, but the chef kindly recommended trying their fresh, homemade gnocchi instead—and I’m so glad I listened.

The gnocchi was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. It was a truly memorable culinary experience that exceeded all expectations.

This place is a hidden gem in Monastir. The service was top of the top—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about food. I will definitely be coming back to explore more dishes on the menu.

There is nothing more special than to have authentic Italian food that transports you to the streets of Italy. The truffle oil pizza is bursting with flavour and had the freshest ingredients. The red sauce in the vegetarian pizza was so good I probably could have eaten it with a spoon. Also a highlight for me was how fresh and flavourful the blend of cheeses were.
