Avoid this place! My experience at this restaurant was terrible. It came recommended by the receptionist at Residence le Ruisseau, and we trusted their advice, eager to try local cuisine. Unfortunately, the food was incredibly mediocre, with some dishes being outright unpleasant.

While the interior had potential, it was far too dimly lit, and there was an overwhelming smell that I found off-putting. However, the worst part by far was the service. The waiter made us feel unwelcome from the start, barely engaging with us and being outright rude.

To make matters worse, when we arrived, the AC was set to 22°C because there was a group of Chinese tourists. The moment they left, the waiter immediately raised the temperature to 25°C, making the space unbearable given that it was over 40°C outside.

Overall, the bad service and uncomfortable environment ruined our day. I would definitely not recommend this...

Me and my Canadian Friend came to this spot as a recommendation from our airbnb host. We ordered Chakhchoukha royal and Camel slowly cooked meat in jar. When we saw in the menu it says Chakhchoukha contains dates while no dates were there ( only dried raisins which is weird in a city that produces dates :) ), the quantity of chicken was very limited ( one chicken leg no thighs which for a plate of 25 dinars should be a whole leg) and since we ordered royal chakhchoukha that it was said it differs from the normal one with adding nuts while the only thing that was added is 20g or less of almonds ( FYI: nuts are not only almonds ) and for a 7 dinars difference it should be a...

My guest house owner recommended this one but it was a Very unpleasant experience. The food was plain ,no character at all but pricy, we were assigned to the small corner table when the whole restaurant has no other guest.The normal small salat comes with entry( when you order main dish) in any other Tunisian restaurant, here you have to pay 4.9.
