The Medina of Tozeur, is also called the district of old Ouled el Hadef, and it is one of the best preserved in Tunisia. It features impressive stone walls and the entrance is made from the traditional stone of the region namely briquette. We actually visited a brick works which makes these. We visited late in the afternoon when it was peaceful & quiet.
