We had high hopes for BotanikCafe but sadly, our experience was profoundly disappointing. My partner and I decided to dine here after seeing positive reviews, expecting a delicious meal and efficient service. Instead, we left feeling frustrated and let down.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The ambiance seemed promising—inviting decor and lively music set the stage for what we thought would be an enjoyable evening. We placed our orders quickly, including what should have been a straightforward meal: a burger.
What followed was a test of patience. After 30 minutes of waiting in a room full of smoke (yes, cigarettes are smoked inside), we began to feel uneasy, noticing that tables seated after us were receiving their meals. Another 15 minutes passed, and we flagged down a server to inquire about the delay. The response? A vague assurance that our food was "on its way, 3 more minutes." Still optimistic, we waited another 15 minutes—now totaling an hour—only for our burger to remain a no-show. At that point, we’d had enough. Feeling exasperated and hungry, we informed the staff that we were leaving. While the server did apologize, there was no genuine attempt to remedy the situation, such as a manager’s intervention or an expedited meal. It was clear that customer care was not a priority. What could have been a great dining experience turned into an evening of unnecessary frustration. A simple burger should not take an hour to prepare, especially without communication or concern from the staff. Regrettably, I cannot recommend BotanikCafe to anyone looking for reliable service or an enjoyable meal. Our time is valuable, and unfortunately, this restaurant seemed to have...

As soon as you step in, you are greeted by the scent of fresh greenery and the soothing sounds of water features, making it feel more like a peaceful garden than a typical dining spot. The decor reflects a harmony between rustic elements and modern touches—think wooden furniture, soft lighting, and lush plants surrounding every corner.
The outdoor seating is the highlight, as it is a perfect spot for a morning brunch or a sunset dinner. Indoors, large windows invite natural light and frame picturesque views, further enhancing the tranquil ambiance.

Read moreIf there’s one thing I don’t like, it’s feeling like I got scammed. Unfortunately, that was my experience. Maybe skip this place if you have any kind of dietary restrictions, and if you do go, be specific and ask for the price of everything. It is pretty in there, but I left hungry and upset.
I got a fettuccine Alfredo, which unbeknownst to me, had meat in it, which is annoying, but no big deal. Guess I should have asked first. I talked to the waitress that asked if I wanted something different. I said a small green salad would do. She did bring a small vegetable salad that was mostly cucumber, tomatoes, and onion, which was decent. But when I went to pay, the bill was over €20. Full price on the pasta, again, that’s on me. But the salad, that I really didn’t even know I was ordering, was about €9. Total rip-off. As the menu was digital, maybe I got the white guy...
