Terrible Experience/Not Worth the Money This restaurant is absolutely worthless. Don’t waste your time or money here. I ordered the lamb chops and my friend got the skewered kebab. both were extremely tough and chewy, like biting into rubber. We even asked them to cook the meat more, but it didn’t help at all. The food was still hard to eat and disappointing. On top of that, it was overpriced. We paid 1,700 lira (around $40) for a meal we couldn’t enjoy. In our two nights layover in Istanbul we experienced most of the restaurants in the vicinity of our hotel and Elci kebap restaurant was one the good ones. It’s a family restaurant and you can order most of the Turkish kebabs there. Their advantage was their freshly baked breads.
