The Hunger First Avenue — Restaurant in Büyükçekmece

The waiters are very slow and don't even smile. The place looks great but looks are definitely deceiving. The appetizers are HIGHLY over priced, the portions of main dishes are VERY small and the meat in our burgers tasted very funny. For two people we paid around 1000 TL and this is without alcohol and we weren't even full. This is not to mention that an hour after having our meal we both felt stomach pains, clearly the meat is not fresh or cooked well. Please take care of such details if you are going to spend so much making the place look so nice. Never visiting again and not recommending this place to anyone. Do not be deceived...

Two weeks ago, was visiting Istanbul and stayed in a nearby hotel. Had a dinner in The Hunger with 2 friends. Don't regret the decision. two of us tried pizzas, I went on with fajitas. Well above average all of them. I was inspired and asked the waiter to recommend a bottle of wine from Turkish grape varieties. Remembering paying for it around 1400 TRL. The only thing inviting about this place is the atmosphere, the food was beyond overpriced and horrible, 1000+ tl for two main dishes and a starter. Supposed dynamite shrimp, we received baby shrimps w tiny bit of sauce, two burgers both were a maximum of 4/10, waiters like you until you speak a foreign language, eventhough am a turk with a foreign guest, lemonade was water with lemon flavor, we both ended up home with stomach pain!!
