Brava is fine dining Peruvian and Mediterranean food in a luxury hotel. The location is spectacular, with ocean views and exceptional design. It’s open air and quite huge. I believe it’s reservation only and the crowd was very well dressed. I felt a little under dressed not wearing heels. The food was really good but some dishes are better than others. The Sea Bream fish was fresh and nice but nothing amazing. The Nikkai Ceviche was excellent and the tempura broccoli was actually a really big and filling dish. It needs the sauce, which is blue cheese and delicious. There’s an extensive wine list and lots of cocktails. The service is excellent and the staff are really friendly. The only hesitation I have is with the price, it was 4 times as much as our best meal in Istanbul. And I can see why with the setting but I have had better food. The cheapest wine by the glass is 80 TL, you will likely pay around 105TL per glass. The appetizers start at 75TL and the mains start at 140TL. I should also mention the breads they provide were incredible. I have to say we really loved our experience thanks to the incredible setting. Get there while it’s still light out to...
Read moreBrava: A jewel in paradise! Excellent food in a beautiful setting with outstanding staff, professional, helpful and very friendly. We went on a Thursday night, they called us to confirm the reservation, first sign of courtesy from their side. It sets the ambiance: you will go into a place where you are expected and welcomed. When you arrive at the hotel, the staff takes care of you perfectly. The food is fine and delicate. The portions are just right, not too much, not too little, perfect! The menu reflects a really interesting mix of cultures. A big "bravo" to the chef! The place is beautiful, tastefully decorated, fine and delicate. And the best comments for the last: the staff. Well-trained, discreet, professional and very friendly people. At the restaurant Mehmet Bey took care of us and made us feel really special. He really gave us very good advices, he knows the dishes well and is a great professional. He has a very good and clever conversation and is an important pile of the great satisfaction that we got from our marvelous experience in Edition that night. Thank you very much Mehmet for all the attentions you had with us. It is a unique place that I...
Read more6/10 Atmosphere is great. Food doesn’t worth it at all.
Our choice was: Creamy ceviche - 6/10 (Too salty, unbalanced taste) Grilled shrimps - 8/10 (Shrimps were really good, but nothing so special) Spaghetti with shrimps - 7/10 (Nothing special) Pavlova dessert - 1/10 (The worst dessert I’ve ever eaten at the resto! Merengue was sooo hard and tasted really bad)
It was our first day in Bodrum. We’ve been staying at the Bodrum EDITION hotel and decided to have a dinner at the resto nearby. Actually, we haven’t been planning to have dinner at the Brava, saving it for our anniversary. We thought that it was Morena for the first time. Then we understood that it’s Brava when we had been given menu.
Atmosphere was really cozy! Personnel was nice, but a little bit clumsy at the beginning.
Main dishes were good. However, dessert was really bad and overpriced. We were so disappointed in the end. And so happy that we haven’t saved this restaurant for our anniversary. Our expectations were higher then what we...
