13 of us stayed between 3 apartments... absolute filth!||As soon as we arrived one apartment was flooded by refridgerater which was mopped up and not fixed! Second night my 18 year ood daughter was asleep in the apartment while we were at pool which was right infront. She was woken up by two men sitting on her bedroom floor. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! We did not tell the manager who it was as we were afraid they would hurt us but we still complained it happened!||My aunts mother in law was in the apartment with her grand daughter and the cleaners had came in and robbed money out of both purses! ||Every time we left we brought a haversack with all our electrical belongings and money as we did not want to be robbed. While we were there not one or two were being robbed it was constant one after another for two weeks! ||The air conditionder over the double bed was leaking constantly we complained numerous times and was not fixed. I was unable to sleep on the concrete bed because it was covered in blood and piss stains while soaking wet.||The apartment was riddled in ants and dirt! Numerous squashed spiders/flies from the people stayed before. Dirt boxers on the press in two bed bedroom from people before||We complained constantly as in result ruined our holiday away with our family and will never be back to the disgusting place with no help when making complaints.||Sheets and towels never changed bin never changed was no toillet paper. Dishes and cutlery were filthy when arrived! We were sbsolutely shocked. Shower was mankey black hairs and grime everywhere (none of us have black hair) had to use chair from outside as we cringed and felt the need to heive standing on dirty floor in shower. We felt a horrible airy feeling we were being watched by cleaners. We demanded no cleaners aloud as they would demand to clean our apartnents but yet not clean..., it was a holiday from hell and could not wait to get home. Myself & my partner stayed here for a week in August. We read the reviews about the Mandarin Gardens which were a mix of good and bad. However, nothing from the reviews could have prepared us for the experience we had. From the outset we were harassed by male members of staff, being followed to our rooms, staff calling to our room in the middle of the night and despite our persistent rebukes and eventual complaints to the management about these particular staff we were not taken seriously until a few days into our holiday when at that stage the harassment was so severe that one of the men was fired and another disciplined. Throughout our stay, we felt unsafe, nervous and anxious in that apartment complex – so much so that we had to spend two nights sleeping on the balcony, (it felt safer than the apartment), we had to stay within a group of other holiday makers and even had to have company going to the loo. Our long awaited and hard earned break in the sun was totally ruined by the behaviour of the staff in this hotel. Our holiday was a total disaster. ||||||||I have contacted the travel company and the travel agent that recommended these apartments telling them of the harassment we had to endure and advising them that they should not be recommending the Mandarin Garden Apartments to single women (on their own or in a group). ||I have recieved a response from the property managment and it is extrememly inappropriate and belittles the situation.||||||||As for the apartment complex, we paid for a budget holiday and therefore we expected budget accommodation, but the standard was far less than budget accommodation. The bed linen and towels were not once changed in the week and at no point did we ask the cleaning staff to refrain from cleaning our room ( as stated by managment in their response to this complaint). Overall we would rate this as an excellent resort for a family holiday. The pool was very clean throughout our ten day stay and provided a good focus for our three teenaged children each day allowing us to walk down to the sea for a morning swim. The apartment has a/c in the bedrooms and was cleaned regularly. With its balcony it is just about the right size for a family of five spending a fortnights holiday. The free Wi-Fi service was a real bonus for the teenagers in the family. Best of all however was the hospitality of the staff. To a person they were polite, respectful and keen to help in any way that they could. The food in the restaurant was freshly cooked and consistently of a high quality. Our thanks in particular to Lokman and the catering team for the high quality of their service. In fact the package as a whole would be very hard to beat for the money. Excellent value, excellent service and an excellent family holiday.
