Gelibolu Balık Restaurant — Restaurant in Gelibolu

Flashback to one of the best restaurants we went during our holiday last year . We went to this restaurant with our two kids for lunch. The seafood was the freshest we had ever tasted. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The salads, the starters were wonderful. For main we had seafood. Those calamaris were fresh , tasty , delicious. We also had fish. I can’t remember the type but we were told they were local. It was to die for. I left the best to last , THE VIEW! The restaurant terrace is literally situated over the sea. Incredible sea view, fresh air, best seafood, excellent service ! What else could you ask for ? I was looking at the photos from that day this evening and I thought they really deserve this review. If you are traveling around Gelibolu ( Gallipoli) , stop at this great restaurant and taste the best seafood. Hoping to get back there one day....

The sea bass was fine. The octopus (see picture) a rip off. Very little fish covered with a lot of breading for 200 TL. And the waiter managed to knock over my beer glass without making a decent apology or replacing the content of the spilled beer.

Moreover no little add-ons (tiny salad or yoghurt) was offered with the fish. Just stale...
