Kalyon Çöp Şiş (Karadeniz) — Restaurant in Germencik

This place is awesome. It gave me so many American vibes for some reason.

We came during the night, which with the reflections of the cars in front gave this really cool aesthetic.

Your car is being washed while you eat, and I absolutely love that concept, super fun.

Regarding the food, you’re served a pretty basic salad and then a continuous supply of freshly made bread. The bread was wonderful! Also accompanying the bread is butter and cheese, another big plus.

The main dish, the cöp sis was very tasty and tender however I feel like they kinda skimped with the amounts. There are three small pieces of meat, and then a piece of fat on each skewer. That’s not a lot of meat on each. The taste was wonderful though.

I would like start by telling you that I am a big fan of çöp şiş and İ do take longer route to make a stop in Ortaklar where it is famous for çöp şiş. Unfortunately, the quality and the taste of the meat has been going down constantly in all Ortaklar restaurants.

Kalyon is one of the better ones but I still cannot give more than 3 star. If you consider the class level of this restaurant, cost to benefit ratio makes this place overpriced for what you get.

Meat is little better than the competition meaning it is more tender and tasty but still not as it used to be.

Kesinlikle gitmeyin bizde burdaki yorumlara bakarak gittik ama pişmanız. Tek lavaboları olduğu için sürekli sıra var. İkramları kaldırdıklarını söylediler yan masaya. Yemekten önce hoş geldin diyen bile yok sofrayı döşemeden önce personeller 5-10 defa yanınızdan geçiyor ama yüzünüze bakmıyor. Biraz süre geçtikten sonra lor ve tereyağı ve salatayı getirdiler ama balon lavaş gelmedi. 2 defa isteyince geldi. Bu arada sofra dizilirken iki arada 4 kişilik siparişi sıkıştırabildim çünkü personel yine ilgilenmedi. Neyse 3 porsiyon çöpşiş geldi getiren 10 şiş eksik sonra getireceğim dedi. Biz yorumları okurken 20 çöpşiş var diye bildiğimiz için çöpşiş adedi az geldi diye saydık 45 adet gelmiş yani 5 tane yine eksik.(posiyonda 15 çöpşiş var) sonra sipariş verirken 1 sürahi ayran istemiştik gelmedi yemek bitene kadar en az 10 defa söyledik. En son 1 porsiyon çöpşişle birlikte geldi. O 1 porsiyon çöpşişi de baya bekledik 2 defa söyledik anca geldi. Gelen lor-tereyağı-salata anca2 kişilik olur tadımlıktı resmen. Etin hiç bir lezzeti yoktu. Çöpşişin porsiyonu 40 Tl sürahi ayran 20 Tl. Bu arada yemeği yiyip gidecekken arabamızın yanına gittiğimizde adam sert bir şekilde yemek yiyip yemediğimizi sordu herhalde yemesek otopark parası isteyecekti 😅 araba da yıkanmamıştı zaten.
