Food: All the gozleme dishes (Turkish crepe/pancake) are prepared on the spot with fresh dough and made in front of your eyes. It's super thin and crispy as it ought to be. It is just perfect thinness and crispness. I highly recommend the spinach and potato version from the savoury and banana with honey from the sweet selection. As a side dish the freshly chopped mixed salad is a huge portion and always fresh. There is also freshly prepared manti (Turkish ravioli) which is also as amazing as the gozleme dish. Seating: It is super comfortable with lots of cushions and space for your to stretch your legs and seat in the most comfortable position you wish too. It is the perfect spot to come to eat amazing food on a relaxed sitting environment. Staff: It is a family run business, the mum and her daughters are super friendly, kind, polite, warm that you always want to come back again. Their kindness and smiles is just heart warming to come again and again : ) Overall: This is the second time we are in Gelemis and for 7 nights we only ate here, it is simply the best food, best people and best decor in Gelemis ! Highly...
Read moreAt the end of the main street of the little Turkish village, Gelemis, you will find a small traditional cafe, Buse, named after the owner’s super adorable daughter. One of the show stoppers of this cafe is gozleme, traditional Turkish flat pancake stuffed with variety of fillings: potatoes, cheese, beef minced, spinach etc. It will be cooked in front of you, which is by itself a grand show which everyone visiting Turkey should see. The second show stopper is Turkish manti which are also “fait maison” and absolutely must try at Buse. Apart from tasty home made food you will be surrounded by family and friendly atmosphere and I promise you will feel like you’re visiting your aunt for a dinner. It’s our third time in Gelemis and we have tried every single cafe in the village. This is one is our year after year big favourite. Thanks a lot Buse for our amazing dinners...
Read moreI first discovered this delightful establishment in 2015 whilst visiting Patara for the first time. I come here at least twice a day and have never been disappointed. Why? The charming proprietor and her daughters, whose smile would melt an iceberg instantly, the delicious, freshly made traditional Turkish pancakes, not to mention the sumptuous breakfasts that are excellent value for money. This place is unquestionably a "Must Visit"!
Latest update. In Patara again, and, of course, I couldn't resist returning to Buse Gözleme Evi to sample the culinary delights. The establishment is more spacious this year, but the food is as excellent as ever, and the welcome by the owner made me feel welcome and at home instantly. It's no surprise to me that this place is so popular with tourists and Turkish visitors alike. Thank...
