A local joint. I had two small stews (chicken and potato and meatball and potato). Although traditional for sure, in many ways not uniquely Turkish (like it tastes like things I randomly make); it is uniquely homey tasting for sure. Friendly people , owners/staff don’t speak English but some clientele do and they are more than willing to help. The stews were 135 lira each and the rice pilaf was 75 lira. Can skip the rice as it comes with a complimentary and very generous bowl of bread. It’s cafeteria style so if nothing else you can point to what you like and they will get it for you.
