Disappointing Visit After Many Good Years

I have visited Lara Beach several times over the past 10 years and have always enjoyed it. However, during my visit today with my family, I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, it no longer holds the same standard as it used to.

The showers were either not working at all or barely dripping water. A small bottle of water costs 80 lira, and a child-sized portion of sausage with fries was over 600 lira – without any itemized receipt, so it's unclear what you are actually paying for. The prices simply do not match the quality or quantity of what you receive.

Even more disappointing was the amount of garbage scattered around the beach area. I have never seen it this dirty before.

I truly hope the management takes action to restore the quality and service that once made Lara Beach a great...

I just left the beach club after spending only one hour. Their instagram page was very deceiving. it isn’t anything like the pictures on their instagram page. it looks more like a public beach than a beach club. their beds were LITERALLY sleeping mattresses and bed sheets. The umbrellas kept flying away. ps: the umbrellas were the ones you see on the streets, for icecream ads.

ALSO, on their instagram there were pictures of their own towels, when we arrived we asked for towels, they said it’s rental, and they brought us old used maybe 1million time towels.

The music is great, tropical/progressive house - one of the reasons I got a bed here. They need to play it a little louder and perhaps invest in getting a professional DJ who can mix/spin it. Getting a taxi from that place was a NIGHTMARE! We ended up waiting two hours for the taxi to arrive! The servers tried helping us by calling the taxi service but nobody was picking up. This place should streamline this service for their future customers. There was also a discrepancy in our order: we ordered two teas, never got them but still were charged.
