Right next to Lara Beach is a Sand Sculpture Museum in a very beautiful large decorative design. It has been operating for 12 years. Working hours are from 09:00 to 23:00. You can see figures of space, planets, cosmonauts, pyramids, pharaohs, and sci-fi, disney, movie heroes. The sand sculptures look very real. They have given a very beautiful decor. The Sand statues look very beautiful in the evening, with red and yellow lighting, the statues come to life and look magnificent. In addition you can see the Moon close with a telescope. Under the sounds of beautiful space music walking there and looking at the sculptures is a pleasure. The entrance ticket prices are different, the prices are different for local citizens and tourists, with the ticket you bought, you can go in and out several times during the day, you can go to the beach and come back again for a beautiful light show in the evening. It is one of the most interesting and must-see tourist places in Antalya. Everyone who comes to Antalya must visit this museum, it is a museum worth the...

Sandland - guess what is was 😕 The good: We were warned it was to be updated in May 2019 and needed some work. OK, we are here now. So 20tl each. That's it for the good.

The bad: Ball pool had 20 balls in it and was just old ply floor boards! The toilets were so bad even the flies kept well away. Most of the exhibits were in disrepair or ruins. Was all quite funny really!

The ugly: See photos for more of an idea; but water had destroyed all sculptures, except the wooden pyramid in the middle. We had fun just trying to guess what they once WERE.

I guess the owners are trying in a difficult climate, but even the exit had been abandoned as time had destroyed that too. Please for Love of God do not use the toilets unless you like hep a, b, d, e and f. The gutters (holes in sand with a grate placed near them) were a nice touch and the [broken] walkway through the wet areas were broken pallets, covered in astroturf, this truly topped off the experience.

Finally I would say call them first to check if it is still knackered. Could spend about an...

Sandland in Antalya, Turkey, was a pleasantly surprising gem. When we visited, it was completely empty, just us, which made for a peaceful and immersive experience. Tickets were 250 TL per adult, and this year’s theme was “space.” The exhibit featured a mix of sand sculptures celebrating real-life space exploration as well as iconic sci-fi movies and TV shows. I was thrilled to see so many of my favorite characters represented; it felt like it was curated just for me. Though clearly a niche attraction, I found it genuinely exciting and well worth the visit. The artistry was incredible, and being able to take our time without crowds made it even better. My only disappointment was the damaged screen that was supposed to show how the sculptures were made. It didn’t work properly, so I missed out on learning about the artists’ backgrounds. Still, Sandland was a unique and memorable...
