We visited Hanimeli Restaurant as it was close to our hotel, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming—it truly feels like time stands still in this place. The atmosphere and view transport you back in time, making the whole dining experience even more special. The food was outstanding. My wife had the pottery chicken, which was cooked to perfection, and I enjoyed the chicken stew along with a cup of rich Turkish coffee. Both dishes were served in generous portions, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity.

If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. A beautiful setting, delicious food, and exceptional hospitality—highly recommended! Edit: We loved it so much that we went back for both nights, took a picture with the family and the hosts. Have been to a few countries so far but rarely came acrosss...

This cozy, family-run restaurant became the highlight of our trip. From the very first visit, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it felt like visiting old friends. The food was simply amazing—prepared with love and care by the women in the family, and you could taste the passion in every bite.

The service was equally wonderful, handled by the men of the family with such attentiveness and genuine hospitality. We found ourselves coming back again and again during our trip because it wasn’t just about the delicious food—it was the heart and soul they put into everything they did.

We felt like part of their family. Meeting these amazing people was truly a blessing, and we’ll always treasure the memories we made here. If you’re looking for incredible food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the...

Hanimeli restaurant is a family-run restaurant and located in a beautiful old Greek town called Mustafapasa. A mother and her two daughters are the chefs for this cozy restaurant.

If you are in Cappadocia, you should definitely try their original Pottery Kebab (the best in town). And here is also a paradise for vegetarians! You should have a look of its menu. There are various of choices from traditional Manti dish to home made lentil soup, appetiser and many more. We visited there 2 or 3 times every time we went to Mustafapasa town.

These people have permanent smile attached to their face, great hospitality and a homely welcome made us feel like we never left our home.

The son (Erhan) speaks English well. English menu is...

Ok. Pass all the tourist traps in the square. If you are looking for an authentic Turkish meal this is your place. If the man Anthony Bourdain was still around this would be on his list for hidden gems. Family ran restaurant so don’t expect high touch service but they are very nice and the dishes are A-MAZING! Traditional Clay Pot (I did lamb but they have beef and chicken). is to die for and worth the wait for it to be prepared. Table bread & homemade dips made me also eat a full loaf of bread! I wish I had better photos . As a foodie and world traveller, you will do yourself disservice if you miss this restaurant! 1 star off atmosphere as if they had heaters for the terrace it would have been 5/5
