Our family of 10 was on a road trip from Istanbul to Cappadocia and stopped at this hidden gem of a restaurant on the way, based on our driver’s recommendation — and we’re so glad we did!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the manager and staff, who made us feel right at home. The service was genuinely attentive and friendly, without ever feeling rushed.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a variety of complimentary starters at the beginning of our meal — a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for the rest of the dining experience. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations.

We heard of this restaurant through the receptionist of the hotel we were staying at in Goreme. We also read the reviews and it lived up to all of them. John was so lovely and hospitable as soon as we walked in. We could not have asked for more attentiveness from him or his staff. He spoke English really well which always helps when you have questions about the food. Nothing was too much trouble, we asked to take away the remaining food and they accommodated that, also made us tea just how we liked. The food was beautiful and the portion sizes were very generous which is the first we’ve experienced in Turkey so far.
