A Traumatic Experience I’ll Never Forget
This was the most traumatic experience of my life. We visited Princess Island in 2016….our very first trip to Turkey. My daughter was just 2 years old at the time, and I was a first-time mom.
I remember my husband had to step away to use the washroom and asked us to wait. I was really tired, so I sat on one of the chairs with my daughter, away from the busy side, just to rest for a moment.
Suddenly, a man — apparently working there — came rushing toward us and started screaming at the top of his lungs:
“GET UP!!!!!! This ice cream in your hand is not from here! Why are you sitting here?! GET UP, GO, GO, GO!!!”
I was shocked, embarrassed, and humiliated in front of everyone. I couldn’t stop crying. That single incident ruined my entire trip, and it left such a deep scar that I have never returned to Turkey since.
No one deserves to be treated this way, especially not a tired mother holding her...

Read moreThe island itself is extremely beautiful, and this ice cream/ Coffee shop is amazing. The whole street smells sweet, but we needed to rest and enjoy the weather. We loved and enjoyed our pistachio ice cream, and Arabic gum ice cream. Then we had two coffee; espresso and Americano, and they were very testy.
The customer service is A+, the guys were so helpful and nice. We needed to put the wheelchair on the side, as my mom wanted to set on their chairs and enjoy her coffee, and they helped me with everything. Will...
