Set Balik is a favorite fish and seafood restaurant for many locals in İstanbul. Set serves unique dishes. It is a historic restaurant with a very modern face, serving generations long. It is must visit place. We love to dine there with family. Highly recommended. Reservations is a must. I suggest you to try different warm appetizers your server recommends for the day. Similar recommendation is valid for the fish.

Probably one of the best fish restaurants in Istanbul. A friend of mine suggested it and I got to try Hamsi, Mezgi, Palamut, salad and meze 😍 Food was great and price was definitely worth it 💯 The only thing that I didn’t like, there wasn’t a non smoking area, so having kids of age 3 was probably not the best idea. Overall, our experience was great and we left full and happy 😊

Both quality of food and P/P ratio are always consistent. It is a must try restaurant. The sole note might be: it is not a romantic dinner or special occasion place.

Probably one of the best fish restaurants in Istanbul. A friend of mine suggested it and I got to try Hamsi, Mezgi, Palamut, salad and meze 😍 Food was great and price was definitely worth it 💯 The only thing that I didn’t like, there wasn’t a non smoking area, so having kids of age 3 was probably not the best idea. If you ask me , is it good to eat there ? I say yes , good food . But very bad management. The waiter is the manager there . He can add what ever extra service he wants to the bill. When I tried to talk to the reception area they were afraid to change the waiter's decision. After insisting from me he took off the extra money. Then they didn't accept us to pay by credit card and insist to make a transaction where we paid extra money for the bank. They are really bad management, when they see you are a foreigner or tourist they try to take big advantage of you . We asked for a 1100 kilogram normal grilled fish where they put 161tl only for the fish . They didn't put the fish prices on their menu so they can take as much as they can. Of course I will never go there again . Please any tourist...

From arriving here till leaving... Valet parking is a must have service! Check! We made reservations on time and had a table in the front with a great view. Then again, all tables are ok. Staff, speed of service and all of that was excellent! The food: superb! We had cold starters and you get to see them all and choose which ones you want. As the main course, we chose the warm inbetweens. This means that you get a litle bit of everything. It's the best way to go at such venues. Prices are average. €55 for 2 persons and you have eaten ENOUGH (bottle of Raki included)!

It was pretty tasty and yummy. Since I live in California, I'm exposed to a lot of seafood places. This one was a little different. They prepared and served the food in an interesting way. Eating out in Turkey is an experience, and this place was no exception I spent about three hours in the resteurant saloon. The view of the Bosphorus was also stunning.

Owner/manager of the restaurant was engaging himself with different tables, so he checked the tables himself. Although he did not come to our table, it was interesting to see how he engaged with his customers. Bravo! I'll definitely...
