CAFE ISTANBUL RESTAURANT&BAR — Restaurant in Serik

We visited the Cafe Istanbul, following a review from a local resident who could not talk highly enough of the place.

We arrived with the restaurant showing two screens of German football and Premier League football.

The staff are a fantastic; chatty, tentative and smiling.

Local cats and dogs for the pet lovers, you can't miss them, they add to the atmosphere.

When it comes to the food - we shared garlic prawns, and halloumi. Both superb. My girlfriend isn't a lover of seafood but tried the prawns and enjoyed them!! As a seafood lover myself, they were brilliant.

The steak was the top recommendation on all reviews we read, and apprehensive of the inconsistency of steaks in the UK, I tried it here anyway. I had a medium steak, and I can tell you now, without holiday or review bias, it was quite simply the best steak I've had in a decade. Cooked to medium, no grissle or fat at all, and the mushroom sauce was beyond comprehension. My girlfriend enjoyed the Chef's special burger - cheese overflowing the sides. The quality of meat here is superb.

The chips are phenomenal. A view shared by our neighbouring table.

Having read some of the other reviews I was a bit apprehensive eating here but I must admit the staff were extremely friendly and food was very very good.

The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and fairly priced. Garlic butter prawns soo good I had to order another portion.

I must however add when we arrived there was nobody else at the restaurant until 5 -10 minutes after we arrived.

If they can maintain this quality and service and give all of their customers the same attention and service I think they will continue to do very well.

Quick direct message to the owners.. if you treat every table the way you did us you will get the best reputation. Whether you have 1 table or 5 don't lose that personal touch with all your customers. It was very good.

Also they charged us correctly for every single item nothing was overcharged and there was no tourist pricing which I highly appreciated.

Unfortunately a lot of places do this and I would never visit them again however here I would definitely recommend.

Honest guys, great food and great customer...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Istanbul and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality.

The food was absolutely exceptional. We started with the cheesy garlic bread, which was perfectly toasted and oozing with flavor. For our main course, I opted for the steak with peppered sauce, and it was cooked to perfection.

The service was equally impressive. Our servers were attentive and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

If I could give Cafe Istanbul more than five stars, I would. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious meal and...
