Mado — Restaurant in Tepebaşı

WE HAVE BEEN TO SO MANY RESTAURANTS BUT WE HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE!! Unfortunately, after a nice evening at the Luna Park Eskisehir, Me and my family ended up at Mado Eskisehir. First of all, we were not greeted upon receipt. Even when a female waitress came to put the menu on the table, we didn't even hear a welcome or anything and she did not even look us in the eye. After the checkout, we went to file a complaint against the waitress. The manager/teamleader kept interrupting us with excuses about the fact that they were with few men and that it was busy blah blah. Very unprofessional.. Then a male waiter came and also made excuses that they were only 10 men and it was busy. And then that waitress came to tell us in a very sarcastic way that she thought she was right because we said thank you in a sarcastic way when she put the menu on the table like a mummy. Not to mention, she refused to bring us food on the table en gave it to her collegue only because we said thankyou in a sarcastic way.. We couldn't believe it.. She really turned the scene upside down. They don't have a professional attitude at all. You should not argue with a customer about how the customer has experienced it with you!! Secondly, a supervisor is supposed to stay with you during the complaint, but when we were talking to that waitress she had walked away. I have been on vacation to many countries but have never experienced this before!! Not even in other restaurants in Eskisehir. For us it was a learned lesson and we will never go to Mado Eskisehir again!!! Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. A GREAT ADVICE: Give your staff a customer service course !!!! And another: Even if you are tired, even if it is late, even if you are with few men, it does not mean that you have the right to be unfriendly!!! You must remain friendly at all time and treat your customer as they deserve and pay for!! Its just to sad and...

Many foreigners are complaining about the racism at MADO. 😮😮😮

Here are my tips to the customers To avoid or at least reduce Any issues of racism at MADO: 😀

Walk on the MADO's blue carpet (should have been red 😀) to the entrance door.

Enter the Café.

Don't look at left or right And dodge any waiter or waitresses Smiling at or welcoming you, Otherwise you will be detected 😃

(Refrain from eye contacts, Unnecessary body movements, Uncontrolled breathing, Consecutive sweating or unusual heart beat) 😄

Go straight to the ice cream freezer

While wearing a light smile, Ask the ice cream girl; "İki top Hindistan cevizi dondurma istiyorum". (Maximize your Turkish accent To avoid any investigation on Your nationality) 😀

By doing that, Not only you will reduce The possibility of victimized racism, You also support the animals & The environment (the Hindistan cevizi dondurma is VEGAN 🌱💚😄 )

Bu sıcak günlerde eşim ben ve 3 yaşındaki kızım dondurma yiyerek serinlemek için bu işletmeye girdik. Kızımız içinde oyun alanı vardı. Ancak oyun alanı çok kalabalıktı. Bu kalabalıkta çocuğumuzu gözetliyorduk.

Kalabalık olma sebebi söylenene göre 3 öğretmen (sanırım okul öncesi) 12 öğrenciyi getirmiş, kendileri ise sohbet ediyorlar. Daha 10 dk olmadan bir erkek çocuğu ile bir kız çocuğu evladımı yere yatırmış darp ediyorlardı. Hemen girdim ve müdahale ettim. Bu esnada saygıdeğer öğretmenlerimiz halen oturuyorlar. İşletme sorumluk sahibi degiliz çocuklarınızı takip edin diye yazmış. Müessese velisiz ebeveynsiz sadece öğretmenleri ile o kadar öğrenciyi oraya almalıydı. Öğretmenlerin o çocukları oraya getirmeye yetkisi varmı? Ya telafisi olmayan bir vukuat gerçekleşse kim sorumlu olacakti? Bir anne baba bir yada iki çocuğa sahip çıkmakta zorlanıyorken öğretmenler 12 öğrenci ile gelmişler. Geldiniz madem çocuklarla ilgilenin takip edin, Öğrencilerinin ne tür bir kişiliği var saldırgan uysal olup olmadığını bilmesi lazim.Müessese sahibi neden bu kadar vurdumduymaz davranmış o da ayrı bir konu. Hangi okulun ogretmenleri oldugunu ogrenmek istesek de ne ogretmenler nede isletme bilgi vermedi.

Bu sebeble 13 Haziran 2019 günü Hoşnudiye MADO da çocukları olan aileler, evlatlarınızı teslim ettiğiniz öğretmenlere dikkat edin. Ya tam tersi, baska birinin evladı sizin evladiniza bir zarar verseydi bunun sorumlusu kim olacaktı? O öğretmenlerin tepkisi ne olacaktı?

Bence tüm sorumluluk o kadar çocuğu anne babasız sadece öğretmenleri ile kabul ederek tüm bu olanlara zemin...
