Develi1912 Tuzla Viamarin — Restaurant in Tuzla

I don’t think I will think to visit them again and for me it is the worst restaurant I visited in Turkey not Istanbul. First very crowded and nobody give you attention to give you a menu and after 10 minutes hardly I caught a waiter and asked him for a menu. After we got the menu we were ignored by the waiters and staff to take our order and finally after another 10-15 minutes I called one of them to take our order and it was Kunafeh, Katmir, 4 cups of green tea, and one Cup or red tea. They took another ages to bring the order and while we were waiting the waiter started to put water in our glasses without ordering or requesting him for water, after 15 minutes they brought our orders and both dishes were disappointed and not well made or tasty and they didn’t bring the tea and when I asked him again to bring it he brought only 4 cups of green tea with spices where our order is only pure tea without any other herbs or spices then I called the waiter and told him it is not what I want he answered me it is the only type of green tea what they have in poor English. At the end the bill came with 179.5 lira which is too expensive for such orders and worst service you will ever think you’ll get In expensive restaurant. I gave the waiter 200 lira and he left me for 10 minutes without bring me my change and after I called him he tried to act as he couldn’t understand me and when he felt I am near to call the police he went to the next table and gave me my change 20.5 lira from the bill box which was on the table. Simply do not go and eat their and you will end up paying an expensive bill for bad food and service and also they will try cheating on you to...

If you would like to go to this restaurant, NEVER let them you are Foreigner. If they understand it, they will charge you unbelievable extra fees.

I took my guests to this restaurant in VIA Port Marina this week to have a good quality food. We all chose from the menu the meal that would eat. Each meal had its price in front of it.

The food was delicious. When I asked for the bill, it was almost tripled. I asked the waiter about the details of the bill. 48 tl for the extra things like water and bread which they served us 2 times and it is normally free of charge in other restaurants.

52 tl for Çig Kötfe, that we even didn't ask for and they brought it on the table volunteerly without letting us to know that it will cost us 52 tl.

And finally 44 tl extra which the waiter said it is for services which I don't have any idea what it was about. They ask you to pay salary of their personnel?!

We were charged 144 tl as extra for what we didn't ask for. A normal bottle of cola is 4 tl outside but we paid 10 tl for a cup. We accept it and understand that. But I couldn't understand why I was charged 144 tl as extra.

The next day I called the restaurant manager and told him about the issue. The guy said that it is normal in this restaurant and you had to pay it. I objected it and told him I will sue them. Then he promised to return the extra money which they had received. But he didn't care anymore later.

I had the pleasure of dining at Develi 1912 Tuzla Viamarin Restaurant with friends towards the end of August, and it was an experience worth sharing.

From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the ambiance. The restaurant's setting near the marina offers a picturesque view, creating a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for a leisurely meal. The seating arrangement, particularly those near the water, truly enhances the dining experience, allowing you to enjoy both the sights and the serene sounds of the marina.

The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, from salads to kebabs, main courses, and desserts. While I found certain dishes, particularly in the kebab selection, to be outstanding, others were simply okay. The salads, fresh and vibrant, provided a refreshing start to the meal. The kebabs were flavorful and well-prepared, delivering that authentic taste you expect from Develi. However, a few of the mains and desserts, while decent, didn’t quite match the brilliance of the others.

One aspect that really stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, and the service was impressively fast, ensuring that we never had to wait long between courses.

Overall, my experience at Develi 1912 Tuzla Viamarin was wonderful. It’s a place I’d recommend for anyone looking to enjoy good food, swift service, and an incredible ambiance...
