During our last day in Turks and Caicos, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Omar’s Beach Bar, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the breathtaking beachfront views.

The setting at Omar’s Beach Bar is nothing short of spectacular. Nestled right by the water, the restaurant offers a relaxed, island-style ambiance where you can enjoy a delicious meal while feeling the gentle ocean breeze. Whether you're looking to unwind with a drink, soak in the tropical surroundings, or indulge in authentic Caribbean flavors, this spot has it all.

For lunch, I had an absolutely amazing meal that left me completely satisfied. The food was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, showcasing the best of Caribbean cuisine. Every bite was packed with bold, authentic flavors, and it was evident that a lot of care and passion went into crafting each dish. I couldn’t help but finish every last bit on my plate—it was just that good!

My son, a fellow musician, was particularly thrilled by the live music at Omar’s. The soulful, rhythmic sounds added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience, making it feel like we were part of something special. It’s not every day you find a restaurant that not only serves incredible food but also provides fantastic live entertainment to elevate the entire atmosphere.

Beyond the food and music, what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff at Omar’s Beach Bar were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment we were seated to the time we left, we felt genuinely cared for. The team made sure our drinks were topped up, our food was served promptly, and that we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our meal.

Meeting Mr. Omar himself was an absolute honor. It’s clear that his passion for hospitality and great food has shaped this restaurant into a must-visit dining destination in Turks and Caicos. He took the time to greet guests personally, creating a warm and friendly environment that made us feel like more than just customers—we felt like part of the Omar’s family.

My wife and I were so impressed with the experience that we are already looking forward to returning on our next visit. Omar’s Beach Bar has the perfect blend of delicious food, live entertainment, and outstanding hospitality, making it a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. If you're visiting Turks and Caicos and looking for an unforgettable meal in a laid-back yet vibrant setting, Omar’s Beach Bar is an absolute must. Whether you're there for the food, the music, the ocean views, or just the incredible atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Omar and his amazing team for making our last day on the island so memorable. We...

WHAT A HORRIBLE DINING EXPERIENCE! Mr owner, I can’t believe you were so mean to curse your customers and to wish that they get divorced - you definitely owe us a big apology! You need to understand that when my family had lunch at your restaurant 3 days ago, your DJ did IGNORE our requests SEVERAL TIMES to lower down the volume when he tested music. We were sitting right behind the loud speaker and the music was pounding, yet there wasn’t another table to move to if we still wanted to enjoy the water from the front line. Your DJ didn’t really care when we made the requests and he made the music even louder after we asked him to lower down the volume. If I knew you told my husband to leave bluntly when he talked to you, I wouldn’t have paid for the drink, I did that only because I didn’t know about your conversation and thought I should take care of the waitress who serviced us. Your arrogance and disrespect for your customers wouldn’t have deserved anything from us! As an owner, being considerate of your customers’ feeling should be something BASIC. When you set up your restaurant to specifically create an experience for customers to enjoy dining in/next to the tranquil water, would that be appropriate to play pounding music right behind your customers’ back while they’re having lunch and enjoying a tranquil sea view? Nevertheless, instead of restraining your DJ’s improper behavior and apologizing, you chose to kick out your customers when they were upset by the situation. If you insist that you didn’t do anything wrong, you should not be in the restaurant business where customer services and satisfactions are important. If cursing other people has been and continues to be part of your behavior whenever there’s an argument, you might as well just exit from doing...

The only thing my wife & I found really nice about this dining experience was that Omar introduced himself to us once we seated ourselves. Now.. to the reasons I had to leave a low scoring and it really is unfortunate after the owner came out to introduce himself. Service here .. worst I've experienced out of many travels. It was a younger lady, but she never approached us with menu's or even drink order. Another table that came approximately 10-15 minutes AFTER us was actually served 1st. The server came to us a few minutes after claiming she thought omar took our drink orders. Drinks: About 30 minutes later, and we have drinks on the table. Now this is something I find VERY disappointing with any business. Watered down drinks to save a few bucks on their end. I had the special which was supposed to include rum, tequila, and a few other mixers. Even after bringing this to the server's attention, she brought a shot of tequila (don't know which brand) which was watered down. No scent, nothing on the pallet. I do tastings with tequilas & rums especially. This was watered down and really turned me away from the meal. Food: My wife ordered curry fish & I had jerk fish. My wife enjoyed her meal. Mine was delicious as well. My only complaint about the jerk fish was the lack of heat. It had sweetness, but no bite. No scotch bonnet or any type of pepperish heat for that matter. Overall: Unfortunately, Omar .. great guy to talk with and meet, but the service, drinks, and longer than usual waits with not many people are the reason I do not recommend. IF you do decide to give this restaurant a go, I suggest virgin drinks over alcoholic for the reason being that you'll be paying extra for watered down alcohol and do not wish for anyone to feel like they wasted...

Our visit to Omar’s Beach Hut was nothing short of spectacular. This vibrant, beachfront restaurant in Turks & Caicos offers not just a meal but a complete sensory experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the relaxed ambiance and stunning ocean views—a perfect setting for an unforgettable dining experience. I opted for the whole snapper, expertly grilled to perfection. The fish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The accompanying rice and peas were wonderfully fluffy, soaking up the delicious juices from the fish. The plantains were a delightful addition—sweet, tender, and perfectly caramelized. My wife enjoyed the oxtails, a dish that was just as impressive. The meat was tender and richly seasoned, pairing beautifully with the simple yet satisfying corn on the cob. The oxtails were a comforting, hearty dish that offered a true taste of the Caribbean. What truly sets Omar’s Beach Hut apart is not only the quality of the food but also the ambiance. Dining here feels like a true island escape, with the gentle sounds of the waves and the cool breeze enhancing every bite. In summary, Omar’s Beach Hut is a must-visit for anyone in the Turks & Caicos. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this spot offers a perfect blend of mouthwatering food, incredible views, and a laid-back atmosphere that will make you want to return again and again.

Unbeatable Views with a Personal Touch at Omar's Beach Hut My journey to the alluring Turks led me to a quaint dining spot that my sister had been to before, Omar's, which sits serenely beside the azure waves, promising a panorama that's nothing short of a paradise view. This place doesn't just offer a meal; it provides an experience where the splendid view takes center stage. The kind of snapshot place for post-card perfect moment. The food: it was satisfactory, providing a menu that curates the familiar comforts of beachside local cuisine. I had the JERK CHICKEN served with sweet plantains and peas & rice. It was delicious and not very spicy. If you like spicy, its not THAT spicy. if you like spicy, but not too too spicy, this is the plate for you! However, where the culinary creations may lack adventurous spirit, the hospitality showcased by Omar himself impressively fills the void. His warm, welcoming demeanor embodies the very spirit of island hospitality. From sharing great anecdotes and heartfelt stories of the 'how they came to be', Omar ensures that your experience is drenched in local charm and genuine happiness. A great visit on your way out to the airport or for lunch before or after some rides on the ocean!

The best thing about Omar’s is the ambiance and atmosphere. It’s right on the beach with stairs going almost right into the water. The restaurant is open aired and painted in beautiful bright colors. The are tables that are out in the water too. All the tables seem to have a good view. The restaurant is kid friendly. We were greeted by a friendly staff member but our server was not so friendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She was very short and seemed unhappy and she let it show. Food can change our perception of a restaurant though and if it’s good, are completely willing to overlook any service setbacks. Food can be objective, but we weren’t impressed with the food despite all the good reviews we read. We ordered two passion fruit margaritas on the rocks.and those were good. We ordered the coconut shrimp to start and those were not too good. There was no flavor, and overdone and dry. We also ordered the the lobster roll and I would not recommend it. We like our lobster rolls with nice big pieces of lobster in it. This is more of a lobster salad, finely shredded and lots of Mayo. You can’t taste the lobster. Even the corn was oddly mushy.
