Coffee At Last - Munyonyo now Olóri Restaurant — Restaurant in Kampala

Visiting from the UK in September 2024, I visited this cafe, which was nearby to where I was staying. It is located just off the main road - has it's own compound, there is parking and a security guard on site.

I visited for breakfast and dinner, and was warmly welcomed on each occasion. There is seating indoors and outdoors, the venue is clean, spacious, well ventilated and nicely decorated. I also enjoyed the nice soft music playing.

The menu is varied, I enjoyed the food, it was well seasoned and tasty and the portions were generous. The drinks were nice too, especially the cappuccino.

The service was excellent on my visits and a big shout out to Sharifah, who looked after me on at least two occasions - friendly and professional throughout. Also a thank you to Alan, the manager, who courteously came to check with me that everything was alright, which it was.

I always order pizzas without cheese because of my lactose intolerance. So far my experience in Uganda was great, because everything was FRESH. I ordered the mushroom pizza without cheese and I asked for garlic. I have repeated my order 2-3 times, because I know extras can slip peoples minds. What we got was beyond disgusting. Good place , but their menu is a bit confusing. Also there are a few things I wish they could work on in terms of Coasts ... They tend to over price even things we get locally!! If it's imported goods we would understand. But things we get down in GABA market...not cool coffee with milk at a different price , black coffee, let's say breakfast with coffee of your choice , a glass of juice , that much ....but a little glass of juice , a little glass of milk , not worth...
