❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️I had a terrible experience this weekend 1st July 2023, that has left my family and I emotionally drained, disturbed and traumatised. I took 5 children to planet water park, one of them my eldest daughter who's a special needs child, autistic and non verbal. She swims very well and needs no help in the pool. 2hrs into swimming, a manager named MOSES comes over to me and asks me to leave. I asked why, he said some parents had said they were not comfortable with their children near mine because she's not "healthy"( in those very words). My heart split in that moment because its been so long since I heard such rubbish and foolishness from a grown man who must be a parent too. Moses, said he would refund my money so I could leave because he was losing customers. Please note we paid entrance fees for 5 children and meals for 5 children and 2 adults. He said my other "normal children" were welcome but the "unhealthy one" needed to go. In those words again!!!!! He was happy to lose 5 children customers I came with, to keep maybe 1 customer or none because I actually received no complaints, nor did the pool attendants. Does that even math up or make business sense??? Also children swam with my daughter happily and the pool attendants had no trouble with her. I was furious and only tried to keep some calm because there were children around. Moses repeated these statements in the presence of another Eritrean manager who claimed not to know English and therefore couldn't intervene. But he said all this in English so I believe he was aware of what's going on. A whole children's establishment should know children are different. Your only job is to make their experience at the water park fun and memorable. After all you hold that job bse of these children your primary customers. Every child should be treated with equal respect and consideration. For this reason, I refused to leave until my daughter had had enough! I told Moses and the Eritrean I wouldn't leave! You don't deserve these jobs, you are whats rotten in our society. You are the reason families with special children shun the outside. You are the reason parents are depressed. Raising a child with special needs is not child's play. We do our best everyday and we need more awareness and acceptance from you. With all the information available today, I wasn't expecting so much ignorance from Planet Water Park, a whole children's play area. Thankfully I recorded this incident with Moses and Eritrean on video. I strongly condemn such acts of discrimination against children with disabilities. No parent chose this but we are doing our best everyday to create a normal life for our children with integration. If you have nothing kind to say, keep your mouth shut and move along. But it would mean alot if you educate yourself or ask to learn more so you dont air your ignorance. The management refused to apologised. The service team who witnessed this were completely shocked because they had seen no trouble that my daughter had caused. Moses and the Eritrean manager, you don't deserve a job at a children's park. Anywhere else, but a children's park. You thought you could intimidate me into leaving but am aware my child has every right to have fun alongside other children. You could never put me or my amazing daughter down. If your establishment doesn't admit children with disabilities please indicate it at the gate on a sign post or your social platforms ❗️❗️Shame on you PLANET...
Read moreToday we visited Planet water park & it was an absolute blast! It had a wide range of attractions that catered to visitors of all ages. From small to big slides to relaxing pool water, small swing as well as see-saw for kids, there was something for everyone. The variety of slides, including thrilling slides and other options, kept the excitement levels high.
Safety was a top priority, Lifeguards were present throughout the park, ensuring the well-being of all visitors. Clear safety instructions were provided for each attraction, and the equipment was well-maintained.
The changing rooms, restrooms, and pool areas were clean, which added to the overall positive experience. There were ample lockers, comfortable loungers, and shaded areas for relaxation. The food court offered a variety of options for kids and adults as well.
Apart from water activities this park had a gaming zone also, which had plenty of paid games available to chill out after the water play. There were racing, bowling,vr games and many more available at a nominal price. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. Considering the overall experience, the pricing was reasonable, providing good value for money. The water park exceeded my expectations and would recommend everyone to visit once with their kids for a...
Read moreIt was an absolutely disastrous experience at the the arcade of Planet water park. The staff called ABRAHAM made it a complete hell on earth experience. For almost 2 hours, he felt that it was okay to argue with customers. His prime motto was he made sure he never let the customer win. So why is someone like this in customer service business? The management did so-so to help the situation. Trust me I’ve seen BAD customer service but this was the absolute worst -beyond any other bad experience ever. It ended up being such a terrible time. At that, he could not listen to his fellow co-workers or boss. He prides on escalating and making situations worse, rather than de-escalating and trying to resolve conflict. It is this specific employee and not the business that is at fault. Please take appropriate action whether it is to re-train or hire competent and kind staff, Especially in an environment with kids. Totally...
