AVOID. Very slow service fully corrupt. Ive visited here three times and eqch time theres prpblems. Always very slow service. The menu prices are not qlways what they charge you and quite often over charge at the till. This place could have gotten 5 stars but is let down by very slow service. I I've been here twice it wasn't busy an a avocado tomato cheese sandwich and chips took 40 mins to arrive. The coffee is good BUT when there is no power they can only offer you nescafe. Because they don't know how to make coffee without a machine. I've been to many cafes in Uganda and when there is no power they can STILL make coffee. Hot water and a a normal coffee cafetiere/ coffee press is fine and a small jug of milk and it's fine. And they can be bought in supermarkets if not in soroti definitely kampala as I've seen them. So two areas of improvement. But seriously the service needs to be quicker. My second time hear I waited well over 1 hour for areas burger and chips and only 4 customers in the cafe. But it gets worse. I ordered a full breakfast and they only gave me half of what was advertised they didn't give me a sausage, toast, and fruit but yet wanted me to pay for full price and it clearly states bacon AND sausage, fruit, and toasted bread as part of the full breakfast. They scamming the customers. A report is will be submitted to ministry of trade. The manager stated I was wrong and lied and gave feeble excuses and thought it was funny as I was leaving I saw some people who had ordered the same breakfast as me and gave them the FULL amount of the breakfast only because I was complaining and he knew they were listening. The manager is clearly there to cheat people bad man. Also on every single visit to this place the prices are more expensive at the time of having to pay the cashier than what the menu states. They also don't honour there offers. the staff are slow and always seemed confused by their own menu. overall I would remove all the staff including the manager and a new menu and hopefully they can get the right...
Read moreLocated in Soroti town making it very accessible. Very clean and calm place. Very friendly staff and fair prices. The service is relatively quick and the food tasty. It has a Terrace that overlooks the town esp the Street that hosts almost all the banks in the town and also gives u a view of the Opiyai rock upon which the National Water reservoirs seat. The access stairs are on the right hand side of the building with your back against the rock. No wheel chair access installed as per now. Just below the restaurant there is Mandela Pharmacy and supermarket and another...
Read moreThis was my favorite place to eat in Soroti, but yesterday I ordered a chicken burger and chips, but when my food came, they brought me a cheeseburger instead of a chicken burger. I even asked for a menu to show the server that my burger looked nothing like the picture in the menu. She agreed but insisted that what she brought was a chicken burger. I refused to pay for the burger and only ate the chips. It was very disappointing for me because I always like...
