The restaurant was almost empty when we dined here. We specifically wanted a starter, which was pointed out to be entered on the menu as a "snack". I ordered mutton Sheesh kebab and a main of Chicken Madras with an extra rice and a plain Naan. I knew it would happen.. EVERYTHING ARRIVED AT THE SAME TIME. So the main was cold when it came to eat it. The Mutton Sheesh kebab was actually good, but the main dish ruined my experience greatly. A horrible weak gravy with no spice or spirit of Indian cuisine. Best described as a Chinese chicken curry without the onions, peas and mushrooms. Chicken meat was poor and not breast meat. The price was just under £60 for two with a bottled beer and two mango lasses thrown in. Basically a con. This is not true authentic Indian cuisine if you have grown up with BIR curry in the UK. Two guys hovering around our table with nothing else to do, grabbing cutlery and crockery when they thought we'd finished with it, in a kind of Basil Faulty style, did make for some amusing moments. But I wanted Indian Cuisine. What I got was a plausible snack and a dire Curry, cold, bland and...

Terrible. Has gone way downhill. Had to put a napkin over my 65 uah 300ml Ukrainian beer in order to keep the flies out. Then 4 flies were sitting on top of the napkin. 1200 uah for 2 people and the portions were small. Meat mostly fat. Toilet smells like in Shevchenko Park. Cutlery is not stainless steel and was a bit rusty and metallic tasting. Samosa was OK. Curry not spicy but very greasy. The waiters are attentive and friendly though, which is why this gets 2 stars and not one, but I would rather cook at home and not get ill at this damp smelling...

This is the best Indian food I have had in Kyiv. I saw a lengthy review from an uppity British guy posted about this place two years ago. If you want Indian food tailored to British people please visit Piccadilly. This restaurant served us hot and spicy food that is extremely flavorful. It has been a while since I’ve been able to sweat from spice and they brought the heat. The seasoning in the chicken curry was great. The Nan is amazing as well. Whatever that Brit had two years ago seems to have...
