I’m glad I tried it out. I don’t eat meat and they accommodated my request. I ended up having a very satisfying rice porridge with mushrooms. The taste is neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. It’s just right! The serving size is generous. It’s actually good for 2 people but I ate everything. This plus their cold Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and the ambiance of the place made me dream of traveling to Vietnam. Their down-to-earth and friendly owner guided me with the coffee and Aya, their server, has excellent customer service skills. I feel right at home here. Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care and service. Food is delicious and I kept coming back however, on the 3rd visit saw that I can claim a discount via the Careem Dine Out offer: 10% off total bill or AED 40 if using Emirates Islamic Visa (Debit). At the time of payment, a young girl with attitude said the promotion cannot be applied; she checked with the manager and boyh said Careem app have incorrectly listed their outlet. I told them they need to coordinate with Careem to get them to update (remive) their outlet being listed with them.
