I came all the way from Dubai to visit since the food and atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. However, on my second visit I had the worst experience. I encountered so much disrespect from the staffs, specifically the waitress Maria. Firstly, I made a reservation the day before to ensure that I get a table. When I got to the restaurant they were short in staff and I had to find my way to the table. As I sat on, I was asked if I had a reservation and was confirmed to be seated there. It took so long for the menu to be given to us. A few minutes later, Maria asked us to move to a different table inside since another customer had a reservation. We came exactly the time of our reservation so I think that we deserve that table as much as the others did. It is not our fault if the restaurant overbooked their tables. After this, they told us to wait to be seated since someone else was about to leave. Don’t you think it’s disrespectful to make someone sitting a table to stand up and wait for a different table??! This is the worst reservation process!
Following this, Maria came straight from the kitchen to us and no one else and told us that the kitchen had a problem and that the food will take 2 hours to be ready. My suspicions was thats she wanted us to leave. I then asked the owner whether or not there was a problem at the kitchen and she confirmed this however she said it will only take 30 minutes. Where did Maria get 2 hours from?? This is such a lie! Especially that everyone else at the restaurant was getting their food.
After eating, I really wanted to confront Maria because of her behavior since this is not how you treat a customer. As I confronted her, she never said sorry and kept on defending herself that she didn’t do anything wrong, even though she clearly did.
Overall, the food and ambiance is nice but if you treat your customers like this no one will come back!
JUST TO CLARIFY, I DID MAKE A RESERVATION AND I WAS STILL TREATED THIS WAY. I CANT IMAGINE HOW WALK IN CUSTOMERS...

Read moreBeing in the UAE for over 15 years, this was by far one of the weirdest experiences. The pork ribs were a total waste of money. It’s basically pork ribs slow cooked (with no seasoning or rubs) and topped up with some store bought BBQ sauce. We ordered 4 of them and it was so disappointing but, since it was our first time, we thought maybe that’s just how it’s cooked here and decided to take it home and improvise to make it taste good.
Considering we were 7 adults and 4 kids (ages 8-10), we each ordered a main course and just one kids meal alongwith beers for the adults and fruit juices for the kids. Keeping in mind that 3 kids had meals from the main menu. However, due to a mistake, our son knocked down a glass by accident on the same table and the glass broke. None of the staff told us anything about it but, when we asked for the bill, we got a bill for AED1400/- that was towards the food, drinks & beers but we were also given a separate bill of AED 20/- (plus tax) towards “The Broken Glass”. The staff didn’t have the decency to tell us about it but when we asked one of the staff, she mentioned that the Manager / Owner insisted that we pay for the broken glass. We didn’t argue and paid for the restaurant’s glass (Promotional glasses which are either given for free or at a reduced rate). So if your planning on taking kids there or you end up having a few drinks, beware of “The Broken...
