101 — Restaurant in Dubai

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 101 Dining Lounge, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. From the stunning waterfront location to the impeccable service, this restaurant truly stands out. The entire team especially Mr. Akhil at 101 Dining Lounge was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Akhil and other staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. Mr. Akhil was well-versed in the menu, providing insightful recommendations and answering any questions I had with enthusiasm and expertise. The service was prompt and efficient, and I never felt rushed or neglected throughout the night. I want to mention the attention to detail and overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff ensured that every small detail was taken care of, from the perfectly set tables to the spotless cutlery. The overall vibe was relaxed yet sophisticated, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or a memorable night out. This is the worst cuisine I've ever tasted before. We ordered 3 dishes on amount 680 aed (the bill is somewhat expensive for dubai and such place). There were: 1. eggplant caviar starter( taste was horrible, i tasted grass only, not sure there are caviar at all); 2. Angus beef from main menu(we were asking medium cooked, but they give us raw piece of meat with fat on the top , and bad taste of truffle, it was disgusting); 3. Grilled lamb (not fresh at all, keeping smell of lamb,we were smelling it on us in the end of the evening) . Portions are very small, if you want have good dinner you have to order at least 2-3 dishes otherwise you will still hungry( we left that horrible place hungry) . This place has low quality of food, not fresh and not friendly service. The security guide was rude ( that shouldn't be in such places) , and waiter was not professional ( maybe she worked first day). Im so disappointed about this place , and it's ruined my birthday's eve and made me sad. I don't recommend this lounge restaurant for a dinner. Not worth such money as well. There are much better cuisine...

The food was excellent but was hard to appreciate given the inferior service level. It was a real disappointment. Spent 1k on a bottle of champagne and the server popped the bottle incorrectly and at least a glass overflowed on the ground. After 2 hours of dining, it was still on the ground. I asked what he would do about it and he just laughed!!! And it was for a birthday, I called 4 times to ask to arrange a dessert and each time was promised someone would call back and it wasnt until the 5th call (2 hours before the dinner) that they assured me someone will prepare it, only to get a little brownie with the name in quotation marks" " as if they have the happy birthday pre-written on a bunch of plates and they just threw the name on. Some many amazing restaurants in Dubai and this one is at the end of the world so you would assume they would do a better job to ensure all aspects of the high priced meal are exceptional.
