Today, we visited Shabestan Restaurant’s new branch in Jumeirah, located at the Lemon Tree Hotel. What makes this location especially noteworthy is that the head chef from the iconic Shabestan at Radisson Blu is now leading the kitchen here—and you can absolutely taste his signature touch in every dish.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff was warm and attentive, with special mention to Khalil, our waiter, who was genuinely kind, polite, and knowledgeable—he made us feel truly welcome and guided us through the menu with care.

As a thoughtful gesture, we were served complimentary starters: fresh feta cheese with walnuts, a simple yet flavorful beginning.

The food came out warm and beautifully presented. Some of the standout dishes included: – The pomegranate soup, a unique blend of sweet and sour that’s both refreshing and comforting. – The Ash Reshteh, a hearty herb and noodle soup, which might just be the best in Dubai—rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. – The Joojeh Kebab (grilled chicken) was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor.

If there’s one thing we’d love to see added to the menu, it’s Zeytoon Parvardeh (marinated olives)—it would be a great complement to the starters.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant yesterday, and I couldn't be more impressed with both the food and service.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff, especially AAQIB, our wonderful waitress, was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. AAQIB's exceptional service truly enhanced our visit, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to him for making our evening so enjoyable.

Now, let's talk about the food. It was simply outstanding! Every dish we ordered was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch. This was our first time at Shabestan Restaurant, and we had an amazing experience!

We started with homemade bread and a platter of Persian herbal salad (Sabzi Khordan), which was fresh and full of flavor. Along with that, we tried the Ash Reshteh—absolutely delicious and comforting.

For the main course, we ordered the Soltani, and it was cooked to perfection—so tasty and satisfying.

Our waitress, Michelle, greeted us with a warm welcome and took wonderful care of us throughout the evening. She was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about Persian cuisine, which made our dining experience even better.

We also had two other servers, Elyas and Khalil, who went out of their way to check in on us and ensure we were enjoying everything. Elyas even surprised us by speaking with us in Farsi, which was such a thoughtful touch—it felt so nice to connect with someone in our mother tongue. He also welcomed us with Persian tea and sweets, which brought back beautiful memories from back home.

The food, hospitality, and atmosphere were all top! The only downside was the AED 50 service and municipality charge added to our bill, which was surprisingly shocking to us, as we’ve never experienced this...
