IDear owner of the restaurant I just want to bring you in your knowledge this service for the hotel it's very worst because I have so many times have been taken food from your restaurant and personally I came with my family as well and we eat together in the restaurant there we like the food it's test is good but the problem the service is very worst because every time I have complaint the restaurant there taking very careless they never take any seriousness on the any complaint so this is totally disappointment of the service what the your restaurant stops are doing that because today the incident happened I actually came with my family from the pooja to your restaurant before I reach how far I just called the restaurant landline number and then I made the order for the chicken charcoal normal okay so after I reach restaurant they give me the food before I received I confirm the chicken after I came to my home this is not the chicken charcoal this is chicken charcoal spicy so which me and my family cannot eat this because it's very I told you are manager with the staff on the he told me it is happen mistake by the person who made the invoice so he told me you will send back the other food if you want I ask you I need the same food is already finished I can give you alternate any food so he told me can give me chicken tikka so I accept but he tell your me the food after one and half hour which is near by 2 hour so this is totally disappointment I cannot wait for the two hours where the food has to be come to my home because this food you know for my childs and I am really like your restaurant food that's why we came from the long distance mall to eat the food and then also I order many times and then I order in my office also more than 6 piece in one time how to very careful and they have to be very careful and the also the how to give more attention of the customer service and two times there is h** which they did not give us okay this also doing I appreciate but after complaint they are doing the same mistake again and again this totally it's make me upset I will complain to the ministry
But I don't want to take any complaint about ministry because why if the restaurant food is not good of course I will take the action but the food is I like and also my family as well so I appreciate you will do the action and and let them take care of the customer because you know the business in the customer the customer is giving wrong feedback it will be not good for the your restaurant so I hope that you will take care of this and also the staff has to be very take...
Read moreContrary to what its name suggests, Taste of Malabar is not purely a Malabari restaurant. It’s a do-it-all which serves dosa, idli and sambar on the one hand and Desi-Chinese, fried rice and noodles on the other. Located on the left as you enter the Al Quoz Mall, this VFM eatery has its main seating area upstairs but there are also tables on the ground floor which are mainly reserved for single men. Its interior is not pretty by any stretch of the imagination but it’s relatively clean and the family section (upstairs) where we were shown to was cool if a little stuffy – there is no view, the whole area is fully enclosed. Many of the menu items we tried to order, including pomfret for the Karimeen Pollichathu (fish fry), were unavailable. In the case of the pomfret, we had to settle for a slice each of kingfish which arrived fried solid and dry but, my companion Kambiz noted, still delicious. We ordered vada and sambar to start our meal with – idli was also not available. For some unfathomable, although it was clearly a warm-in-the-microwave job, the vada was served last. I didn’t like it or the sambar. Dal, Bhindi Fry, Prawn Curry, Jeera Rice and a Malabar Paratha made up the rest of our order – everything thankfully and quite surprisingly good. So good, in fact, that we decided to take what was left home. We were greeted with a lot more enthusiasm than we were served. In addition to service being snail-paced, attracting attention was also challenging – we literally had to get up and go find our waiter two out of three times. It took an age for our food to be served and when, eventually it was, it arrived without cutlery. Chipped plates, mix and matched spoons – oof, these guys were on fire. Service – the single biggest weakness of this restaurant otherwise the food was actually quite decent. Would I come back? Absolutely not – my preference at Al Quoz Mall remains Jalpaan. Read moreI’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received from your restaurant on the occasion of Onam. I had placed an advance order on 3rd September for 30+ people, with a clear instruction that the food must be delivered by 12:00 PM on 4th September.
Not only was the delivery delayed beyond 1.15 PM, but there was also no proper communication or response from your team during that time. Repeated calls went unanswered, and when someone finally picked up, they spoke in a rude and unprofessional manner, showing absolutely no sense of customer responsibility.
This level of negligence completely ruined a special day for us, and I will strongly discourage others from ordering from your restaurant. Basic customer service, timely delivery, and clear communication are the minimum expectations from any establishment—unfortunately, you failed...
