Tim Hortons has always been our favorite place to unwind after a long day. Whether it's to de-stress after work or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee, it has consistently been our top choice. However, our experience at the Tim Hortons Discovery Gardens Pavilion branch on March 1, 2025, at around 7 PM was deeply disappointing.
I was there with my family and friends, and we ordered French Vanilla and Pistachio coffee. Since we were a group of six adults and one child, we moved some tables together to sit comfortably. Admittedly, we made the mistake of bringing outside food, and when the staff member, Zain, informed us that it was not allowed, we immediately complied, packed up our things, cleaned our table, and decided to leave without any issue.
However, as we were exiting, Zain suddenly began aggressively moving the tables and chairs, knocking one over in the process. This was especially alarming as my four-year-old niece was standing nearby, and my sister-in-law had to quickly move her out of harm’s way. When we calmly asked him what was wrong, he responded in a dismissive and disrespectful manner, saying, "I am okay. Are you okay?" He then continued handling the tables forcefully, drawing attention from other customers inside the café and nearby restaurants.
The entire situation was not only upsetting but also humiliating. While we understand and respect store policies, no customer should ever feel unwelcome or subjected to such unprofessional behavior. We left feeling disappointed, and unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting negative impression. I love Tim Hortons but I will never again visit this branch, nor would I recommend it to my...
Read moreMy friend asked for the coffee to be a specific way. They took the order and the payment and once the coffee came my friend told her this was not his order, the lady at the counter basically said it was. He had also asked for warm coffee not hot and when pointed out she gave him hot coffee she said it was warm and didnt admit to her mistake. I doubt a warm coffee burns the tongue. Please teach ur staff to listen to customers otherwise people wont be coming back for sure. I dont enjoy bringing people to places where the drink burns them. We did not ask for a refund nor a change in coffee after that interaction where she refused to take responsibility all we ask is better training for the staff either in brewing coffee or in dealing with customers the right way. Ill take any one if these if both is too...
Read moreTim Hortons is always our go to when we wanted to have coffee especially this cold season because we really love their French Vanilla. However, in this particular branch, the staff named Zain (tall guy who is on duty around 7pm on March 1 2025) had a very bad costumer service. He told us that food from other restaurants are not allowed so we immediately packed up to go leaving no trash behind, but he was so rude that he exaggerately dragged the tables and chairs which almost hit my daughter who is nearby. They had a little exchange of heated conversation with my husband because he called him out due to his behavior. We understand that things could be stressful at work, but I think more attention to quality and customer care would make a big difference. Hopefully, this can be improved...
