My first time experiencing Afghani cuisine was a disaster. This restaurant is a disgrace to the Afghani culture. One of the worst places to Dine in / Eat from in Ajman. Why is that? let me explain point by point. I've got 5 points which includes Service, Food Quality, Food Quantity, Price, and Management. This is all genuine and based on real time experience. I've got no intentions to damage the image of the restaurant. This is an honest review.
Service - It is very slow and bad. Bring a mattress with you for sleeping cuz they take a long time.
Food Quality - The food is bland and has no taste at all. The only thing I enjoyed eating was fresh salad and a bottle of water. My nephew cooks better food. Definitely needs some seasoning. Somebody call Gordon Ramsay.
Food Quantity - The food quantity is really less as compared to the price they charge. I would rather buy a chicken from the market and cook a better dish by myself.
Price - Too much price. Everything is expensive. I don't have a problem in paying a lot of money for good food but paying a lot of money for food that doesn't have a taste, nah. There has to be balance. If you're charging so much money for your food then either have one thing right which is either have a good delicious food or give more quantity if you cannot manage the food quality. What value am I getting out of it? Nothing at all, no taste, low quantity. Neither of it. Just looting people. The place looks like something out of the movie. They definitely spent a lot on the infrastructure, electricity, rent. I would say better spend that money in your kitchen where that food comes from. I think they just charge more to cover their expenses and make profit by reducing the food quantity and charging high price.
Management - Rude as hell. The cashier is pretty paranoid. He rejected my money twice for the food that I ate because he said that my money is fake and not real. I offered him a aed 500 note which I got right out of the bank and he says that it is fake which is quite disrespectful. Not only that he starts to shout at me and starts getting angry when I start to question his actions towards his customers which is me. He was really rude and arrogant. I was with my family and I felt disrespected. I earn that money with hardwork by working a legal job in the UAE and for someone to say that it's fake is just not acceptable. Someone needs to give him a lesson on how to treat his customers. I am the paying for your food. The reason your restaurant is working is because of your customers money. Your customers money is the reason your family is enjoying and living a decent life. So, don't mess with your customers Kabul Darbar.
Final thing :- This is not Afghanistan. This is the United Arab Emirates. You follow by the rules here. If you don't then you know you can be in court. One of the reasons why I Love the UAE because of their law.
I rather die of starvation then eating again from...
Read moreI had been yesterday with my family having bad experience with the food. i ordered Afghani biriyani and pulao with chicken , and the food was very old as if it was cooked 5 to 10 hrs earlier ,I believe it was reheated and served to us and the chicken was too hard and stuff. The moment we started eating we found human hair inside the rice. My childrens were very angry seeing the hair inside the rice. I complaint to the waitress and she was not serious at all and just ignored it. Then we moved to cashier to complain ,the guy who was sitting at the cashier took this matter very lightly as if nothing went wrong. Without arguing further I paid all the bills and came out Hygiene level of this restaurant is Zero. I recommend people to avoid these kind of restaurant to prevent from heath issue. Ajman municipality should keep this restaurant on...
Read moreI recently dined here and had a mixed experience. The Chicken Karahi was flavorful and quite enjoyable, and the Afghani Pulao platter was decent, though the meat kabab was the highlight. Unfortunately, the pulao rice was a bit bland.
The seating area was pleasant, but it's worth noting there isn't a separate area for families, which might be a drawback for those looking for a more private dining experience. Parking was a significant issue; the lot is quite small, and there is no valet service, making it a real hassle to find a spot.
Overall, while the food has its merits, it feels a bit pricey given the overall experience. It might be worth a visit if you're in the area, but be prepared for...
