Red Tomato Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Mughaidir

An Italian culinary experience at Zawaya Walk, Red Tomato is one of the few places which offer wood fired pizzas in Sharjah. The ambience of the restaurant is neat, and is a place for family, business or casual gatherings.

Recently, I also came across kid experiences where children were allow to prepare and bake their own pizzas.

Coming to aspects they really need to look at to make it big:

Flavour: The flavour of the pizzas is bland because of insufficient toppings and spice that are added upon the pizzas

Service: Very slow and when the food arrives it is served all together. At times, the food turns cold, which doesn't allow one to end on a high.

Waiters: Need to be trained more rigorously in customer management and hospitality.

I have been here twice, and noticed a slight improvement in the food taste but other things continued to be the same in a span of 3 months.

A special highlight was the experience for the kids! They were given aprons and chef hats and got to make their own pizza right in front of the other guests. The place is a nice Italian family restaurant, kids were enjoying making their own pizzas, note that this is a charged experience by AED 70 per child including the pizza. Pizza are cooked in woodfire oven, and nice, pasta is really good. The restaurant is an expensive place, but considered as average price compared to other Italian restaurants.
