I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blue Spice Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the restaurant delivered on all fronts, offering delicious Pakistani halal cuisine that left me craving for more. The ambiance at Blue Spice is inviting and warm, with tasteful decor that sets the stage for a delightful meal. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the evening. Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece of flavor and authenticity. The menu boasts a wide variety of choices, but I highly recommend trying their signature biryani – it was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and the tender meat was a true highlight. The kebabs were grilled to perfection, bursting with savory flavors, and the naan was soft and fluffy, just as it should be. The restaurant's commitment to using halal ingredients is evident in the quality of the dishes. What truly stood out at Blue Spice was the attention to detail in presentation. Each plate was a work of art, and it's evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft. In summary, Blue Spice Restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience for lovers of Pakistani halal food. It's a place where you can savor the rich and diverse flavors of Pakistan in a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal.

I work away all over the country so have to rely now and again on takeaway food which is very hit and miss. I ordered a chicken patia and rice. My whole apartment lit up a bright red glow? It was my curry!! Basically chicken in ketchup!C’mon guys?! A lazy effort. The rice was lovely, you have rave reviews about your donner kebabs, but alas we all know these are bought in wholesale, so you can’t claim credit for that!! I’m starving!!

Our favourite doner place in Aberdeen. Love their doner with their white sauce. Tried there pineapple and ham pizza first time. It was good too but doner is the best. Their calzone and fried chicken is also very tasty.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blue Spice, an Indian takeaway in Aberdeen that truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I placed my order to the last bite of my meal, everything was simply exceptional.

The standout feature of Blue Spice is undoubtedly its incredible chef, Imran, affectionately known as the “Curry Specialist.” It’s clear that Imran has a deep passion for Indian cuisine, and his skill shines through in every dish on the menu. His expertise not only ensures authentic flavor but also a beautiful balance of spices that tantalizes the taste buds.

I ordered a selection of dishes for a small gathering, including the Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Vegetable Biryani, with a side of garlic naan and samosas. Each dish arrived impeccably packaged, preserving both temperature and flavor.

The Butter Chicken was creamy and rich with just the right amount of heat, cooked with tender chicken pieces that practically melted in my mouth. The balance of spices was masterful; I could taste the hint of nutmeg and cardamom that lingered beautifully. It’s clear Imran takes his time to prepare each sauce from scratch, allowing the flavors to fully develop.

The Lamb Rogan Josh was equally splendid, featuring succulent pieces of lamb that were tender and juicy. The sauce was a deep, vibrant red, packed full of spices that provided warmth without overwhelming the palate. It was the perfect combination of savory and aromatic, making it one of the best Rogan Josh I’ve ever had.

The Vegetable Biryani was a delightful surprise, bursting with fresh vegetables, basmati rice, and fragrant spices. Each grain of rice was perfectly cooked, and the medley of vegetables added a wonderful texture and flavor that complemented the meat dishes perfectly.

I must also mention the garlic naan—it was fluffy, warm, and had just the right amount of garlic. It was the perfect accompaniment for all the dishes, allowing me to scoop up every last bit of sauce.

The takeaway experience itself was seamless. The staff at Blue Spice were friendly and attentive, ensuring my order was accurate and ready for pickup right on time. It’s always a treat to engage with a team that clearly cares about their customers and the quality of their food.

In summary, Blue Spice is a hidden gem in Aberdeen, and Chef Imran’s culinary prowess is truly a testament to authentic Indian cooking. If you’re in the mood for a flavorful, satisfying meal that delivers both in taste and quality, I couldn’t recommend Blue Spice more strongly! I’ll definitely be returning for another helping of Imran’s...
