It would be helpful to know when open or drive though only. Have asked, but apparently it varies if they have staff or not. The other day I got there just after 9pm. The door was open, but then shut and locked in front of me. In reality, if you stay at the hotel next door or park your HGV in the overnight parking you have no chance to get a meal from this 24 hour branch after 9ish in the evening or an early breakfast. Unless you chance it and order via an online delivery company ie Deliveroo and wait outside. Have been in branch a couple of times. It is very dirty, service slow and as you can only order via the machines, I would suggest you don't order unless you already know the menu on top of your head. Can't say I am a McDonalds regular, but for me it has always been decent burgers and that reliable, fast service wherever you are in the world. Apart from this branch. The wait was VERY long for the takeout. Noisy and quite stressful. The food was ok, a bit cold and not exactly what I ordered, salad and tomatoes watery and limp. Also, of what I have heard, enter the Drive Though at your own peril. Once in the line, there is no point of return. Avoid. and avoid. On the other hand, it looks like this MacDonalds is constantly running at around150% capacity. Closing at night and drive through only does make sense at late hours for many reasons. It should just be clearly advertised. And the staff able to answer a few questions regarding 24/7 service if your vehicle is not suitable for drive through for example. You are next door to a large HGV park and a hotel used by a lot of professional tradesmen and also people going on walking holidays. Mc Donalds is seen as last chance saloon (not in a bad way). Both me and a couple of professional HGV drivers asked staff in person and over the phone a couple of simple questions, ie opening hours and vehicle restrictions for drive through. Can you order food if your vehicle is parked in the HGV parking or the hotel parking next door when it is drive through only? Can I order online and have it brought outside? Can I walk up to the drivethrough window on foot (ok-this is madness trying to do). Had no straight answers, and also some Staff spoken to were not even aware of the HGV parking outside and the hotel next door (with all the vans too big to do drive through). Of course, it is up to the management to decide if this is clientele welcome for the late burger and the early breakfast before going back on the road again. I am not going into the shocking and abusive behavior from some customers your staff have...

Came to the Crossbush McDonalds today with my partner on our day off as a treat meal out. We ordered at the kiosk which was fine but when it came to receiving the order, i opened my cheese burger which i specifically customised to take the mustard and pickles out and to add more onion but none of these changes had been applied to my order, I opened the mayo chicken which i ordered and the lettuce was soggy and stringy with some parts browning so wasn’t fresh at all and the chicken patty itself was cold, chips were fine and drinks are as always great as its not hard to mess up a large diet coke and large oasis. Another issue we had was the cleanliness of the restaurant itself, with flies absolutely everywhere and flying around us whilst eating but when i brought this to the managers attention but got told “ they were sorry but they couldnt get rid of them” 🤷‍♀️, smudged food on the windows and floors, tables weren’t cleared off and had to be done ourselves so we could actually sit down altho multiple staff members just wandering round dining area not doing any of these jobs. Proper waste of our money and i highly regret my trip to this restaurant. It’s unfortunate as this is our local fast food restaurant and wouldve loved a hot fresh meal with the correct ingredients inside.

UPDATE : ordered again on the 31st of August 2023 at 18:44pm through the mcdonalds app for delivery. I ordered 2 x Cheese Burgers with NO pickles, NO mustard and EXTRA onion in both of the burgers but to my surprise (!) none of my customisations had been applied to the burgers YAY! also my order arrived at a shockingly late 20:30pm! AFTER my partner had ordered, received and eaten a KFC meal from Rustington! I dont even understand how a restaurant can be run so poorly and yet couldnt even sort anything about it through the app! yet another mistake of taking a chance on this restaurant but im not ordering from here ever again....

McDonald's Arundel has always been my go-to place for a quick and delicious meal. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease from the moment I walk through the doors.

Ordered for delivery, a medium sized meal and a cookie. The driver that delivered insisted on taking my delivery number before he opened his food bag, he then proceeded to hand me one small, very light bag. I asked him where the rest was, he said this is what the restaurant gave him, he asked them if there was anymore as seemed weird, they advised no just the one bag. He said he couldn’t do anything for me and to call McDonald’s to redeliver. McDonald’s didn’t answer and you can’t call just eat. I had to send an email and order from elsewhere. I’ve provided photo proof that I got 1 small empty bag (attached) and they have refused any refund, or to replace my order. I spoke to Megan the manager at McDonald’s today who was about as useless as the letter G in lasagne. All she kept repeating was ‘we can’t refund delivery’s’ even when I asked her to just replace the meal I didn’t get and I could collect (just want my damn good at this point). She had no resolution apart from speak to just eat, who don’t seem to have a contact number. I felt Megan was rude and very unhelpful, didn’t seem to be any other manager that could help. Overall I’m pissed off I’ve spent £14 and received no food on a Saturday night and now both companies (just eat and McDonald’s) are being completely useless. I know it’s a McDonald’s issue as I can see on the bag what the order should have, and it says just a cookie!? I ordered a whole meal and then you bring me a sealed empty bag.

Went to the drive through service. It was pouring with rain. The drive through branches into 2, I chose the one on the inside lane. I waited and waited. The other lane was moving, 5 cars have finished their ordering. I was stuck, so was the car behind me. They moved lane and managed to placed their order. I hit fed up of waiting so I horned. A young man came and took my order eventually. What happened for that delay, I’m not sure. As I went to collect my order, the roof definitely fell short. When I wind down to collect my order, rain poured in. That was not the worse, the staff working inside were chatting away. Just when I thought it was my collection, I wind down my window in anticipation only to find, it’s not my order. This puzzle continued for 3 window ‘wind downs’. I was wet, my car was wet. The guys chatting inside are dry. Hence, they don’t really care. Really disappointed with this branch.
