Me and my family came here for a Christmas dinner paid 35-40 pound a head non of us got to eat together, and then to top it off half way through my dinner the only bar in the pub closed and they refused to serve anyone even though there were young children wanting a drink and they knew people were still eating upstairs... But the staff sat there with their drinks...I get it's Christmas but if you are serving food then the logic would be to serve drinks too especially if there are small children...I would not recommend this place to eat again... What can I say? Other that the forest tavern in Skegby is the best place to be! Honestly I have never felt as welcome as what Adam and Louisa make me feel when I come in! I always feel like part of the family!! The girls that work behind the bar are absolutely amazing… can’t forget Adam!! We are like one big happy family! We all look out for one another and you can always count on having a laugh when you come into this pub! I would 100% recommend it to anyone that feels like popping in… you’ll never want to leave!...
